QUOTE (X-Offender @ Dec 27 2019, 11:52 AM) To a certain extent. I clearly don't think Serie A is the best league in Europe, La Liga is. But I think the gap between Italy and England, for example, has been reduced substantially. Not sure La Liga is. And England is a weird league - Leicester are second for goodness' sake and the traditional 6, Liverpool aside, are garbage! I don't think there's a best league any more. You have the big five, to a degree, and they all change per season in terms of the 'pecking' order. But I do agree Italy has improved, and can be legitimately classed alongside France and Germany - not sure it quite matches PL or La Liga.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Dec 28 2019, 10:44 AM) Defenses in the MLS are not as tactically oriented as Serie A. The overall quality improved yes I agree, but the defenses Zlatan faces are not the same and hence I am skeptical he can bring in the same goal tally.
But what I am confident about is him bringing the fire into this team. Even a third of the goals he scored for Galaxy would mean a huge improvement compared to the level of impotency we're currently at.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Dec 29 2019, 11:56 AM) Even a third of the goals he scored for Galaxy would mean a huge improvement compared to the level of impotency we're currently at. Ibra is not just about the goals though It's that certain mentality and culture he brings in with him that none of the current crop possess. Not even the ones with true potential like Donna or Romagnoli. A winner's mentality. It's what we need and I hope we sign someone else with his level of experience, preferably in midfield

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Dec 29 2019, 08:05 PM) Being linked with Matic. Don't really care for him. Also, Suso being linked with a move to Sevilla.
In all honesty, I would ship Suso away if the right offer came (say, 25-30M).
Now that we have Ibra I would also reconsider switching to 4-3-1-2. I think Ibra works best with another striker next to him.
We have Hakan or Paqueta who can play as trequartista, let's use them. Not sure about a 4-3-1-2 I still think a 4-2-3-1 suits the players we have more. Paqueta also can benefit greatly from someone like Ibra. He's struggled this season and having someone like Ibra can be a boost for him.
