Tough one for us. All I'm hoping for is that we see an improvement in performance at least

Oh, already the next game.

Well, I hope we can improve on our performance. Lazio aren't anything special, so...I think we can win this game if we do well.

Lazio have been playing very well actually. I'll be happy with a draw. I know there'll be a lot of eye gouging about our play, but till winter transfers I just want us to scrape enough points so we're still in the hunt for 6th place.

Would be nice to see Locatelli given a chance.

I like the consistency in the lineup. Maybe, this time we can do better with a midfield which has more grinta.

Seriously, Locatelli? He looks just like another Montolivo to me. But I guess he deserves a chance.

I think this isn't the right game to push him in. I'd rather play Sosa in the regista position and play Kucka and Poli on either side of him tbh

Hmh? Like a finished player? How is that possible? Locatelli is many things but not old and slow.

Old obviously not, but slow and uninspired.

Slow? How can a teenager be slow? We must have patient and assess him a little more detailed.

I don't think Locatelli is slow, I just think he doesn't know how to impose himself on a game at this point in his young career. If we give him some game time and ease him in I think he will begin to grow in confidence. That being said, I don't think this is the right time to throw him into the fire. Our midfield is weak and we lack true leaders, throwing a kid into that type of deep end will just ruin him.

This Locatelli talk is reminding me of Cristante who I remember got a start under Seedorf I believe and had a nice goal against Atalanta, then he never saw the field again and was sold at the end of the year. Young players need space and a long leash, which is why its difficult to incorporate them into a top team. Seeing as we are not a top team and our midfield is terrible I can't see Locatelli doing much worse than our current lot.

Of course a teenager can be slow. It has nothing to do with age. I've always been slow as f*ck in playing football.

But yeah, like I said, it's only fair to give him a chance. But probably not in a game like this.

Sosa or Locatelli instead of Montolivo and that formation would be quite good.

Does Montella have a crush on Mortovivo? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
