Nice counterattack and goal from the Viola. FT Fiorentina 2 - 0 Reggina.

We're tied on points with Samp (but are ahead due to goal differential) four points behind Fiorentina. Udinese are 1 point behind us (they drew today with Siena).

In week 33 we play Juve next, Fio play Inter, Udine play Roma, Doria play Reggina. Worst case scenario is that everyone wins except us.

A more realistic outcome is that us Fio and Udine loose while Doria win, however

in week 34 Doria and Udine play each other, we have Reggina and Fio play Palermo, It gets better

Week 35, Fio play Doria, we play the communists while Udine play Catania, who just thrashed Napoli 3-0. We play Livorno at home, who thankfully have a worse record than us

Things get slightly complicated in Week 36. Derby della Madonnina, Udine play Empoli (who also have a worse home record than us), but Doria play Roma. Fio play Cagliari

Week 37 will not be kind to us. We go play Napoli, Udine play Cagliari, Doria play Palermo and Fio play Parma

Week 38 is (potentially) decisive we play Udine (at home) Doria play Juve and Fio play Toro

Now i predict:

Milan - L - W - W - L - D - D - 8 points from six matches
Fiorentina - L - W - W - W - W - 12 points from six matches
Udine - L - D - W - W - W - D - 11 points from six matches
Samdoria - W - D - L - L - W - L - 7 points from six matches

Final standings would be Fio 4th, Udine 5th, Milan 6th, Doria 7th

This is taking a pragmatic view, it is entirely possible that we could win all remaining games while Fio and co slip up against the likes of Reggina and Cagliari, however i say that we wont make it.

Somewhat worrying moment during Palermo-Juve. Nedved and Guana both go up for a header and...well, headbang each other. They're both carried off on stretchers and are subbed out. I /think/ they had both regained consicousness by the time they were carried off. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Great header! We need a player like him @ Milan! Even though I think he will go to Juventus.

Must be head wound day at the Renzo Barbera.

Migliacco and Tiago bang heads just after the start of the second half. Both seem okay (they walk off the pitch for treatment), but Tiago's got blood streaming down his face -- which could be bad for Juve since Ranieri has already used his subs.

Gazzetta is saying that early reports from the respective dressing rooms indicate that Guana and Nedved are okay.
