I agree, he'd fit much better into Milan, as he'd struggle to fit into Man Utd's team (Utd would essentially have reconstruct their style of play to suit him). I'm not sure what kind of effect he would hope to have there, but Sao Paolo have a "strong link" (whatever that link is (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ) to ManU.

Turning 35, Cafu is more prone to injuries and Milan are a team that fight on all fronts. Meaning I expect Milan to make a move ahead of United (if they r linked to the player). Cicinho, in my point of view, is a Rossoneri already; with the qualities that he has he is truely the hier of Cafu, thus making him eligable to start as one of the back four.

Cicinho is more than welcome at Milan. If Milan signs him , he has a difficult task to replace cafu. I suggest immediate impact (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

He wont go United.
Why go to a team thats on the decline and has almost no domestic or european chances?

I think real madrid have a first option clause on him (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) , I expect Galliani was waiting until he became a free agent (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That's what I believed too. What is going on with it recently? How come so rumours suggest that Milan are moving in for him, AGAIN??? Some guy at MM mentioned it, but I do not know the reliability of that news. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Sorry for quoting myself. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I read from some other forum that the president of Real Madrid just announced that they may decide NOT to exercise their first option. I guess that's how the rumors came to life again.

Good old real, why sign a good defender when there are so many forwards to buy:o (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Let's hope this rumour is true and we do actually go for Cicinho (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Too much sudamerican players for Real Madrid, but Cicinho I think it's a done deal for Real Madrid.

Let see in January, but seems that Milan don't try to sign Cicinho again, in a recent interview with a spanish newspaper, Cicinho thinks that he is already a Real Madrid player so...

I think real madrid have too many non E.U. players, that is why they may pass on signing Cicinho. Let's keep our fingers crossed (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

that's true. but having too many non-EU players is just an observation, with the deep reason behind is their philosophy. A stupid one. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Cicinho on 1 January will have italian passport, so it will be a EU player. it's not a problem for Real Madrid.
