QUOTE
This week the trident of Toni, Bonazzoli and Chiesa will form our attack in a 4-3-3 formation.

Abbiati: When asked to play he did make crucial saves. Kovac made him work extra hard and could have cost Juve the game. Abbiati was alert to prevent an own goal. Capello must have a chit chat with the young defender as mistakes like that will cost them games as fortune can only get you so far. Another question: Will Abbiati accept to be # 2 again when Buffon returns, or will he leave? Arsenal would love to have him. Barca or Valencia could bid for him too.

Cannavaro: Was all over the Inter players. Spectacular at heading the ball away. Can be very physical. He was lucky that he was not shown a card when he shoulder checked Martins. Has lost a step, but has a bag full of tricks.

Panucci: Scored a goal. Played well, but his team still lost. His team needs to step it up a notch. Consistency is the key. He has it, but the rest of Roma does not.

Maldini: A living legend. Two goals! What more can you ask for. Silvio loves this guy. It will be a sad day when he retires. Whoever takes over his number and defensive position has big shoes to fill. Lippi might just want to talk to him to consider a comeback and who would dare to critique that idea?

Cassetti: Great defending. Aided Lecce in a fine victory over Cagliari. Not many teams can score three goals and shutout the Sardinian outfit.

Nedved: Scored a goal and was a threat when he had the ball. Juve will go far as long as he stays healthy. It would be nice if he helps Juve win A CL this year as he can make the difference.

Recoba: A sub to replace Figo. Played well and nearly scored on a free kick, but Abbiati was up to the test. He should be a starter or he should switch teams. Roma would be a good team for him to move to as he could form a deadly combo with Totti or Cassano or he could be another striker to add to the attack options. A versatile player.

Kaka: Gave the Reggina defence a lot of problems today. A prime candidate for a Golden ball.

Toni: Just keeps on scoring. Was shut out for just one game against Inter. Now the question is: Can Juve prevent him from scoring?

Chiesa: The veteran just keeps on going. Has a bag full of tricks up his sleeve. Can finish in the top five in Serie A in terms of goal scoring and Siena can attain a UEFA Cup spot this year.

Bonazzoli: Well he keeps on scoring. Samp lose one game, but they recover and lay a whipping on another team. The team must stay consistent though. One thing is for sure. He is scoring and Reggina is asking why why why!!!

He only played 15/16 mins yesterday, but he brought some verve that was missing at times in the second half. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

maldini scoring two goals is quite a surprise.. but, dont think the idea of him going to back to national team would do Milan a good thing...

It is amazing that Kaka made it to the best XI after playing only about 15 minutes.

As for Maldini, I doubt he is ever going back to NT, but that's worth a separate thread, right? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
