Now that's a coach look. He'll make it, I'm sure. In a couple of years, I can see him take over.

When I saw those pictures my first thought was "damn he really looks the part." I'd love to see him take over in a few years. We all know he has the passion but I think we need to make sure he's given time to develop the tactical and man managing skills to succeed.

Problem is, we're now trying to get rid of the friend-family policy. If we appoint Pippo,...well, we're back with the same relationship we had with Carletto. That's probably why we never even consider Mauro as an option.

There are strong reports Pippo Inzaghi will be promoted to Coach of the Milan Primavera team from next season.

The former striker retired only last summer and went straight into work at the Rossoneri youth academy.

At the moment he is at the helm of the Allievi side, who are all under the age of 16.

There are suggestions Inzaghi has done so well that he will be promoted to the Primavera job for 2013-14, which many see as a stepping stone to an ‘inevitable’ position as head Coach of Milan one day.

Current Primavera Coach Aldo Dolcetti will step down to join Massimiliano Allegri’s staff as a conduit between the youth and senior levels of the squad.

superpippo's team wins cup

Tsk tsk tsk, I would at least expect someone to comment about this moment of triumph for the next generation of Milan. The beat the same team they lost against last year, Anderlecht (spell).

It is sad that this threat lay idle for so long, noting that Inzaghi is still very much involved in Milan, given his current task.

Pippo the coach has yet to prove his merits, but as far as 'feeling' goes i feel he knows what is to be done. He can teach the attack how to be sharper, how to feed the ball through.

Inzaghi the player missed a lot of chances (as most do) due to poor incoming assists. Hence he should have an idea of how to direct the midfield attack.

He is yet to prove his merits, but as far as feeling goes .. I hope he is ready.
