I think if Senderos can take care of the air balls, we can at least make up some of his presence. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Not Stam, of course, but someone like him will do. In the last couple of seasons, I've been jumping up and down the seat whenever a ball came in the air near our defense.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ..Stam was really a great player. But his last year (at Ajax) wasn't good at all for him. I still miss him.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) No seriously, R7. We were that bad in the air, plus Dida's form didn't help at the time. I even have a broken seat to show for it. A large hole in the middle, from all the jumping and pumping. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

Thanks in advance Senderos, if you can handle the aerial balls.

Very true. Even in Stam's last season, the first season of the 3 in the row when Dida started to play without any confidence, we started to have trouble with high balls, especially from the flanks. It's our problem ever since. We had great attack back then (Sheva's last season) and we were scoring plenty, but the defence messed it up.

Ooooookay. I think the 'Good Galliani' has disappeared and the 'God Galliani' (the one with God-complex, and immense class, and who opens his mouth far too much) has taken over. I'm not gonna like this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) These direct comparisons. Like Borriello better than Huntelaar.

Instead, he should be saying we've done everything we can to enforce our squad, and the results are now in the teams and coach's hands. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But he can't, cause he's disappeared. So I guess gotta learn to live with it.

The defence wasnt completely messed up at that point but it was deteriorating noticeably. Things kept on going downhill for the next two seasons. This season i am a little bit more optimistic
