QUOTE (Maestro10 @ Aug 9 2009, 03:26 PM) What a sad performance!!! SIX losses in a row, no and what more, the president say we are second to none, he must mean we are second to last (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) We will crash and burn from day one of the league at this rate (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) would you rather we win now and lose in the league (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) pre season means nothing inter beat us , and yet they lost to Lazio yesterday so does that make us worse they Lazio now (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm not being bitter, just realizing the capability of our team and it is not looking good, nothing is clicking

QUOTE (Ry4n @ Aug 9 2009, 04:50 PM) lol firstly i wasnt stating that "Inter a reference point in football ?" i was merely pointing out pre season is pre season when it comes to the real thing its very different , im not going to say we are looking good at the moment because we arent but we will adjust , im not going to fall down and cry and say "where did this team go" no , we will be bringing in a player or two and they will to adjust. aha, well for me losing three focal elements; in our coach, our captain and our most prized asset. That has to have its impact, and as you can see Leonardo can't even get the team to dominate play, let alone win! it will take more than two more players to change the tide , Leonardo needs to make us click and fast. our first game of the league is in less than two weeks

QUOTE (Coldest @ Aug 9 2009, 04:25 PM) Han, I totally disagree with you at that piont. I think that he should be a little bit more selfish and try to score by him self like he did in the match against Boca. I guess there were 2 or 3 runs that I liked. Passing is good but it's not the only thing for Ronnie to do. You said he cant go past the 5 defenders... Maybe not 5 but 4. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'm not saying that he shouldn't shoot, in fact I think he doesn't shoot enough, he always tries to pass instead of going for one himself... What I'm saying is that he sometimes tries to run at 5 defenders and its like running into a brick wall, 2 or maybe 3 he can take on but 4 or 5 is too much and he ends up losing the ball, what I'm saying is that he needs to adapt his game to his limitations, he's not as fast as he was so sometimes making a pass is smarter then trying to beat 3 players. I think he'll have a really good season, but he needs to work at it and not take on too much as it will blow up in his face

Well, Fishdoll and I missed the Benfica game seeing as we were in the mountains drinking beer, but..well, not too terribly surprised. And not too upset either, yet. We'll get upset if we're still sucking in, say, November.
I agree with Han's comment about Ronaldinho needing to adapt his game -- it's spot on based on the games I have seen.

I'm not being bitter, just realizing the capability of our team and it is not looking good, nothing is clicking Aside from the rivalry with Inter. Inter is superior in every way to Ac Milan. Defense offense and midfield keeper and coach are all better than Milan. Inter are on their way to being competitive in Europe and morratti and mourinho will do what it takes to get the winning combination. I like Milan over Inter but it's just a fact. With Milan it's always backwards looking. We won consistently 10 years ago and we have a winning tradition. If you look at barca, Chelsea, Madrid, and man u it's about this season- now!! These are the tier 1 teams. Milan are now tier 2 or 3. Again this is not me getting emotional this is just fact from the performances of the team. I think it's a travesty that the Milan powers have made such horrible business decisions and now people think of Milan as an old team that used to be really good.

You didn't just derail the point i was trying to get across to Ry4n into a Inter is better than Milan ? Well of course Inter are better, they are far more superior and to say otherwise is just lunacy!

QUOTE (nuh @ Aug 9 2009, 10:39 PM) you sound like an inter fan you just keep brining inter into every part of your comments.....we all are aware that inter are better than us but how dare you say that i am shocked and offended.... Milan was and always will be a great team just cuz we had a 2 or 3 bad seasons does not mean anything... we are going through something called rebuilding our team our management are slow to reacting to this...but thats it i am 100% sure that we will see the old milan very soon i think this team can getter better even this year with a few buys here and there....i am sad to see maldini and kaka leave but we have to suck it up and take it like men...the season didn't even start and your complaining? at least wait until november last year we were even worse in pre season and we had a good season...we must not forget a lot of players didn't play yesterday and leo is look at the team testing witch formation is best and a lot of players are not 100% fit we are trying the best we can i know it might not be enough rht now but it will be in the future....your acting as if we are 20th in the league how dare you say that....at the moment you sound like a glory supporter In which part of my posts, other than the last two did I mention Inter? Milan 'was' a great team yes, the last great Milan team was the won that fell at Istanbul. After that summer nothing seemed the same, I am a Milan fan to the heart, but I will not be persuaded to think otherwise !! And how dare I say what? that Milan is not looking good atm?? well, you tell me!
