Pato should work on his speedy first touches, he has ruined two great chances in the last two Serie A games. And, to avoid getting Zed mad, I'm not saying that he won't or that he can't or that he's not good enough for his age or anything else that is bad, I'm just mentioning it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Let's hope this is enough.

Pato's dribbling is still deserting him - sometimes he manages to head up a head of steam, but inevitably it goes nowhere.

I think we should alter the way he is deployed, because recently he's being used as a right winger and I don't think that's getting the best from him.

No...I think he's young enough to learn that role, for one. And it's not like he's not getting scoring opportunities. He was played in the same position against Madrid, and he ripped Marcelo a new one.

Today was an offday for him.

Plus, it's not a winger. This is Leo channeling the old Brazil of Jair, Pele and Tostao. Pato will be our wing forward...and I like it. He's got the pace and the trickery. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He's not a winger. He's a RF. Its a similar role to what messi plays. Starts wide and then attacks the middle. A winger would attack down the side to the byline and either cross or pass. I've not seen him do that once.

So did Navas for Sevilla. Marcello is a terrible defender.

He's not really shown the above this season though, that's my point.

Maybe winger was the wrong word, I agree he doesn't cross, but he's operating in a position whereby we see him running at left backs and defenders and usually failing to beat them.

I feel he should be deployed as a SS.

QUOTE
I Want To Win Everything With AC Milan - Alexandre Pato

After a disappointing start to the season, AC Milan are now in pole position in their Champions League group and have risen to fourth place in the league.

While they are still nine points off league leaders Inter, as well as only one point ahead of third-placed Olympique Marseille in Europe, Alexandre Pato is thrilled with the improvement that the Rossoneri have made recently.

The young striker has also rediscovered his touch in front of goal in recent weeks, and is desperate to fire Leonardo's side to glory.

"I want to win the league and the Champions League, to always be doing well at Milan and to give my best. I am very happy here," he announced in an interview with Sky.

"I'm doing well on the right hand side [of Milan's 4-3-3 formation] and I'm doing my job for the coach and for all of my team-mates. I want to go back and help my team-mates in defence, I'm happy to do my work for them and for the team."

Milan travel to Lazio this weekend, and will be hoping for a repeat of last season's 3-0 victory in the Stadio Olimpico. While the Biancocelesti have not won in the league since August and were humbled by Villarreal on Thursday night, Pato is under no illusions as to the talent at their disposal.

"We know that it's a difficult game, but we have to do what we have been doing in training this week. We will go to Rome in order to get the three points because they are very important for us."
