The game will kick off at 9:15 instead of at 9 QUOTE ITALIAN CUP: KICK-OFF TIME CHANGE 1/22/2007 The Football League have announced that Milan Italian Cup semi-final at home to Roma will kick-off at 9.15pm CET and not 9pm CET has previously announced. Anybody know if Rai Due will be showing that matches?

QUOTE (Portugal @ Jan 23 2007, 05:49 PM) I think it's too early for Oddo. Maybe next weekend vs. Parma. Why? It's not like he isn't match fit or anything like that. The Coppa game is the perfect place to start for him.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jan 24 2007, 07:23 AM) There are things called tactics and getting used to the idea of not being il capitano anymore Oh yeah?? So these things do not apply to a 20 year old Argentinian by the name Grimi who has never played in Europe before, right?? Grimi also played against Arezzo! There is no reason for Oddo to not play this game, I mean he's a RB not some stirker who has to deal with his partner in the front of the goal, plus he's not a kid and can adjust easily (since it's basically it's the same role he had at Lazio, offensive RB) ! I'm sure he'll play (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Jan 24 2007, 03:21 PM) Grimi played against that Brikhjakhdkafh team(only in the second half) after a couple sessions of training. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Oddo has a hell of experience and I'm sure he's ready to play... I'm not saying he should or anything but I'd like him to... and it certainly wouldn't surprise me.

Ancelotti’s Final Countdown Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has warned semi-final opponents Roma that reaching the Coppa Italia Final is a major objective.
The Rossoneri welcome the capital giants to the San Siro for the first leg on Thursday and Ancelotti is looking forward to the challenge which the Giallorossi will present them.
“First of all, we can talk about anything except Massimo Oddo, Ronaldo or tomorrow’s starting line-up,†joked Ancelotti as the pre-match Press conference kicked-off.
“The semi-final will be very interesting because we will face a very strong team, one who defeated us in the championship.
“We are also approaching the first objective of the season. Christian Panucci said that Roma want to reach the Final, but so do we!
“We have recovered some of our injured players and we have obtained some good results, considering the fact that we played two delicate games against Fiorentina and Lazio recently.â€
Ancelotti admitted that he will field an attacking formation which will include Ricardo Oliveira, who has been linked with a move given his disappointing performances since his summer arrival.
“We will play with three forwards,†noted the tactician. “I believe this game can be a good opportunity for Oliveira’s comeback.
“He is doing well in training, but is having some difficulty in games.â€
Ancelotti finally commented on Valon Behrami’s dangerous challenge on Alberto Gilardino during the match against Lazio at the weekend.
“It was the only mistake in a game where the referee did well. It was a very bad foul, but I believe it was due to tiredness and not because of a desire to injure someone.
“It’s not always easy to be objective with fouls. It’s possible to change your opinion on them once you see them on television.†Football Italia

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Jan 25 2007, 01:54 AM) My formation: -----------------Dida---------------------- --Cafu----Simic---Bonera--Jankulovski ---------Brocchi-------Ambrosini--------- -----------------Gourcuff------------------ ---------Kaka--------------Oliveira------- ----------------Inzaghi-------------------- I heard Jankulovski's got some light injury problems so he may not be disposable for tomorrow. But for the rest of the line up, I like it.

My team for tonight
Cafu--Bonera--Simic--Maldini -Brocchi--Gourcuff--Seedorf- --------------Kaka------------- ------Oliveira--Inzaghi-------
I heard Janku has some problems, so Paolo will probably have to play as LB since we have no one else for that position, and I don’t think playing Grimi from the beginning against Roma is such a good idea. Kaka needs to get some matches in his legs because we need him at his best for this part of the season.

QUOTE (Portugal @ Jan 25 2007, 07:37 PM) Billy playing vs. Totti, Wilhelmsson and Mancini? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I hope I'm wrong but I think we'll have a Inter x Roma for the third consecutive year in Coppa final. Not if the defense plays down (I dont know if I'm clear!)

QUOTE (vnata001 @ Jan 25 2007, 08:48 PM) hey, i know this probably doesnt belong here..but why under goal.com's transfer zone does it say that milan and cska are negotiating a full ownership transfer for oliveira..?? makes me a bit irritated to read that.. No sence since we have only 3 strikers for the CL! Another poor defending, if we keep playing like that we're gone lose for sure (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
