QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ May 31 2009, 10:35 PM) I appreciate what he has achieved with us but I feel with the squad he had we should have won far more. Well it's not like the squad he had was without any competition...let's see just how much Ancelotti has won: 1 Scudetto 1 Coppa Italia 1 Supercoppa Italiana 2 Champions League 2 European Supercups 1 World Club Cup Total: 8 trophies in 8 years. With competition from Roma, Juve and Inter domestically and everything imaginable internationally.

Thanks for what you have offered! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It was time to go, I think this move will benefit both parties. As for the future, as long as you are not coaching in Italy, I wish you great domestical success! Ciao!! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

QUOTE (MizNelson @ May 31 2009, 12:46 PM) Show the man some respect, will you? He accomplished a lot with us in eight seasons that most other coaches could only dream of. +1 You guys can't act as if he hasn't done anything positive for the club. What exactly are you saying? That it was a painful 8 years?! I beg to differ! Okay so we (most of us) wanted some change with regards to our coach a good while now, but now that it has reached there is no reason for us to lambast Carlo further than we already have. We could show some respect to a man who has given us much joy over the years. He is a great coach [that possibly needs some change, as did we] Great things never last forever; now that we have parted ways, I hope for further success in both directions... GRAZIE Carlo. Forza Leo. FORZA MILAN!!!

QUOTE QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ May 31 2009, 02:40 PM) Which section would be suitable for a Leonardo thread?
QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 31 2009, 02:48 PM) I'd say "Other". QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ May 31 2009, 03:02 PM) Why not in the Past Players section? 'Other' just seems so bleh... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Where was Carlo's own btw? [...why not the same?]

will definitely be remembered as on of our greatest coaches, but I agree that it's time to part ways.
i also like that both him and maldini are leaving together. i think that will help with the changing of the guards.
can't wait to see how we look next year...even more glad that maldini and carlo got to go out with a win and qualifying us for CL.

FORZA MILAN!!! 100 % true... It would be so ungrateful to not appreciate everything the guy been offering to Milan and all the titles that we won with him... If there were some failures, the reasons of these were not fully his. What do u expect from someone who asks for a defender and the club bring him a playmaker... He asks for another defender then the club bring another playmaker... What Ancelotti did with Milan cannot be ealisy done by others. The Stability he created at the club whereas other coaches would have gone crazy about the Club's decisions is to be appreciated. Neverthless, Milan need new blood and not from the coaching side only but from the starting 11 to say the least, Million Thank You Carletto, All the best in your new adventure wherever it is... Welcome Leo, And Forza Milan.

I don't think it was a painful 8 years but a painful last 2 years. but yes, he's gone and even I am not criticizing him anymore. it's over. Carlo is in the Club's history pages! if we're going to remember him, let's remember him for the good things he did. that sounds pretentious and lame, but I mean it! +1btw - Good post too Mario, I agree with you as well!
