If you consider Controcampo a reliable source, here's the latest on injuries:
*Pato should be out around 15 days. That has him skipping the Siena and Livorno games but being availalbe for Parma and both Arsenal ties. Apparently the swelling of his ankle went down quickly and there's cautious optimism.
*Kaka went off because he had a knock to his knee. Nothing serioius, the Controcampo article seems to think, and he should be available for the Siena game.
*Seedorf was hurt when he went off, which may go some way to explaining the evil looks. He took a knock to his ankle and will skip the upcoming Netherlands friendly.
Controcampo is expecting Pippo to be available for the Siena game and also that Paloschi will get a call up and may see some playing time.

Think they 've "pumped" the story a bit up so that Kaka could skip the friendly,..

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Feb 3 2008, 10:51 PM) This is a very interesting predicament. I'm convinced we're cursed...there is absolutely no other explanation for this.
Well at least Paloschi isn't all useless. But even he doesn't seem like a second striker from what I've heard. We're up the proverbial creek....again *rolling eyes like mad* Oh well...what can't kill us can only make us stronger. *rolling eyes like madder* come cap, cursed? we maybe be unlucky with pato but in all honesty did anyone expect inzaghi and ronaldo to be fit all season? it's a fact that ronaldo and pippo are some of the most injury prone players in pro football, this was completely foreseeable. we have 3 injuries? come on thats nothing huge. other teams have had worse. inter have had at least 3 injuries in their midfield all year, same with arsenal, juve have 2-3 injuries in their defence, real have 5-6 injuries in the past few weeks.... we are far from being cursed, if anything i'm surprised we have had other injuries with guys like ambro. and be thankful pirlo and kaka havent missed many games... imagine then...

It's not just been injuries and we do have a lot of them...
Rino, Kaka, Pato, Ronaldo, Inzaghi, Paolo is not 100%, Sergio, Cafu, Dida's left shoulder,Janku etc.
Inter have hit that purple patch...where everything they do just turns out to be gold. No midfield...no problems...play a 4-3-3 and bingo it works.
Not to mention in our case, players who are normally of high standards...suddenly lose all form.
Kaka (Serie A), Rino , Pippo, our fullbacks.
This season every little thing that could go wrong has gone wrong..except maybe like I mentioned earlier Pirlo getting sidelined.

Sticking this here because a thread hasn't been started for the Siena game.
No team training today at Milanello. However, Janku, Rino, and Pato were all there doing tailored work specific to their individual situations. Also, Alberto Paloschi trained at Milanello.
In a separate piece, there was a note about the Primavera's next game in the Torneo di Viareggio. The front line, so the note says, will be led by Pierre Aubemeyang and Kingsley Umunegbu.
So...looks like Paloschi really will play with the grownups on Sunday.

This season every little thing that could go wrong has gone wrong..except maybe like I mentioned earlier Pirlo getting sidelined. paolo has been in this situation for almost 2 years now, so i dont see how it was going to suddenly change now. kaka, rino, pato, dida these are all recent things, our season was already down the drain before these injuries occurred. inter has depth in all positions so since they had problems with he midfield, they said hey lets throw on a 3rd forward. for us we only depth in defence (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) so had we had more depth in midfield or up front it wouldnt have hurt us as much. come on our players have been out of form for 2 years now... i dont think it's a question of form. guys like pirlo and kaka, nesta have lots to give but the rest of them... well i'm not too sure. in short we sucked when we had our starting 11, it got worse when we got a couple of injuries and we'll probably even more fcked now that kaka, rino, pato will be out.

Dude, there's no guarantee Kaka will be out for ANY length of time. The goal.com article is total BS; the team doctor says he's been playing with this knee issue for a couple of years and that EVEN IF he were out for 4 months, it might not change anything. For all we know, this is being floated so Kaka doesn't get crap from the Brazilian federation for skipping the friendly v. Ireland.
