Expanding on what somebody else did a few days ago (sorry, can't remember who did it), here's ho important Kaka' has been to us. (League only).
2008/09 Played: 31 - Won 20, Drew 8, Lost 3 - 68 points from 31 games - 2.2 points per game Didn't: 7 - Won 2, Drew 0, Lost 5 - 6 points from 7 games - 0.9 points per game -We'd have nearly won the league if we gained 2.2 points per game, we'd have been relegated on 0.9 points a game. Kaka' is that important to us. 2007/08 Played: 32 - Won 17, Drew 7, Lost 8 - 58 points from 32 games - 1.8 points per game Didn't: 6 - Won 1, drew 3, Lost 2 - 6 points from 6 games - 1 points per game -We'd have actually made CL football if Kaka' plyed every game, in theory, we'd have barely avoided relegation with our continued form without him. 2006/07 Played: 31 - Won 16, Drew 10, Lost 5 - 58 points from 31 games - 1.9 points per game Didn't: 7 - Won 3, Drew 2. Lost 2 - 11 points from 7 games - 1.6 points per game -W'ed have easily made CL without him that year, struggled without. 2005/06 Played: 33 - Won 25, Drew 3, Lost 5 - 78 points from 33 games - 2.4 points per game Didn't: 5 - Won 3, Drew 1, Lost 1 - 10 points from 5 games - 2 points per game -We'd have won the league with our 'with Kaka' form' (pre-trial). We'd have dropped a place with our form without him. 2004/05 Played: 36 - Won 23, Drew 8, Lost 5 - 77 points from 36 games - 2.1 points per game Didn't: 2 - Won 0, Drew 2, Lost 0 - 2 points from 2 games - 1 point per game -Relegation form without him, didn't even win without him. 2003/04 Played: 30 - Won 22, Drew 7, Lost 1 - 73 points from 30 games - 2.4 points per game Didn't: 4 - Won 3, Drew 0, Lost 1 - 9 points from 4 games - 2.3 points per game -We'd have won the league either way. But we lost as many games in 4 games without Kaka' as we did in 30 with him. Total Played: 191 - Won 123, Drew 43, Lost 25 - 412 points from 191 games - 2.2 points per game Didn't: 31 - Won 12, Drew 8, Lost 11 - 44 points from 31 games - 1.3 points per game -Lose as many as we win without him, not even getting the equivilent points per game to qualify for Europe, forget CL. It's quite clear he's a big player for us, even as for back as his debut season with us. The stats don't lie, we're not a 1 man team, but without him we're not a good team either.
