Yup, and I've been spying on rival boards (inter, juve and Roma), and even fan forums across Europe and for the most part it has been doom and gloom. More so across the big three in Italy, and well this is the third year running EPL has not had an influx of quality players. Not a smidgen. Galliani is now one of the most hated/envied figure in world football, not just because of the players he got, but how he got them.
And don't forgot a a completely new XI of youngster that we plucked from other clubs for the future (and not just other youth clubs, but Chelsea and Barca young ones). Even if three out of those make the transition, it is a job well done. B&G have pulled a master stroke, they have done their bit. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/king.gif) And now it is up to the players and the coach to show what they are made of. Anything less than the CL or the Scudetto would be utterly disappointing. Particularly now that we have entered the league of the top tier clubs of Europe. It matters now how we did it, but at least other people and teams are taking notice.
