QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 4 2006, 11:37 PM) Toni said after a talk with Viola's president, they reached an agreement and everything was fine. These were his own words. OK!!! so what did you expect him to say ... "I hate this club and that deficit ... I wanna leave but they won't let me go!!" ... Not gonna heppen!!! QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 4 2006, 11:44 PM) Toni shouldn't have settled. He should have done whatever he could to terminate the contract and leave the Viola. Yeah that would have persuaded Della Valle ... c'mon the guy is a pain in the @ss!!! QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 4 2006, 11:54 PM) that's just me I guess!!! Good topic Portugal .. About the league .. I think a lot of teams are aming for at least 3rd place, since Juve is out of the picture. I think everygame will be played with full potential by teams such as; Palermo, Livorno, Parma Chievo etc. ... I know what ur thinking, that what kind of game will these guys play to even reach 3rd place !!!! And I say, it's there GOLDEN oppertunity to get the results, they know there opponents well .. And without Juve they know they have +6 points in their pockets from the start (hypothetically). Us, Roma, Inter, Fiorentina, Lazio, and Reggina will go for our goals .. Let that be reducing the defficite, aiming for 1st place, or/and qualifying from the group stages .. But by mid-season, we will be worn out .. That's when these teams will really show their credability. I think it will be a very interesting yr for Serie A, the yr w/o Juve (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE (dst @ Sep 4 2006, 10:02 PM) I guess what he meant is, that a lot of teams are aiming for the third place this year but it will be Inters in the end...

QUOTE (LaPalma @ Sep 5 2006, 01:04 AM) I guess what he meant is, that a lot of teams are aiming for the third place this year but it will be Inters in the end... even if someone manage to beat them to it ... it will be because of cheating. So Justice will awart third place to them next summer, I don't worry!!!

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 5 2006, 01:11 AM) Simple: Ibra wanted to leave just like Toni. Juve said no way. You can go to hell. No more sales. Last word. No! Blah blah blah... He didn't settle... He did whatever he could to leave. Toni gave up. And that's my point. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) yes but if Ibra had stayed he wouldn't say anything different I think (from what Toni said)... that's what I said. Maybe Joni BazookaToni could have managed to persuade Della Valle to let him go as well but I rate it highly unlikely!!!

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Sep 5 2006, 01:26 AM) Juve gave him up because they are a Serie B club at the moment .. Just think of our situation had we been relegated; suddenly Kaka, Pirlo, etc .. want to leave .. Same situation .. Toni is different .. He's still in Serie A, he backs off on them now (w/ point deduction), he knows he'll be criticized and hated by many. ... and that too!!! My fellow rossonero came on time!!!
