QUOTE Milan Targeting More Brazilians, Benzema(IMG: http://goal.com/images/29443_news.jpg) It seems like AC Milan will continue favouring Brazilians as they look to add some youth to their aging squad next summer. This summer it seems that Milan will finally be ready to make some major changes to their squad in order to decrease the team's average age, which is currently over 30. As is well known, the club have a definite preference for Brazilians when it comes to foreign players. Among the players being followed currently are defenders Alex (23) of San Paolo and Sidney Rachel (19) of Internacional Porto Alegre, as well as midfielders Hernanes (23), also of San Paolo, and Fernandinho (23). The latter player has been one of the revelations of the season at Shakhtar Donetsk. For the strikeforce, the Rossoneri are looking at another Brazilian, 21-year-old Carlo Eduardo of Gremio. Of course, it will be tough to find new players of the calibre of Kaká and Pato. Another nationality of players Milan are known to be keen on is the French one. An option for their ailing goalkeeping department is Hugo Lloris of Nice, and they are also one of many clubs interested in striker Karim Benzema of Lyon. The competition for the 21-year-old is intense, however, and considering that much of their attention will also be focused on the complicated Ronaldinho operation, it seems unlikely Benzema will end up with the Rossoneri. Forget Benzema, he already said that he'll stay another year at Lyon, he's too expensive, a striker (if we need one of those it should an established one, we already have Pato and Paloschi) and, the worst of all, Lyon player, that means we'll have to deal with Aulas who cares about € more than anything else!
