So, I never mentioned there's a topic about our team staff and the changes from season to season. If I'm wrong, we allways can close this one.. So, like R7 reported, we have Valerio Fiori as keeper coach (btw. does that mean that Abate is out? I'm not so sure he did a good job last season..).

And..

Never heard of Mentana before,..

Nope, Vecchi will remain as the head coach of the Gkeepers. Fiori will just be an addition (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

EDIT: Mentana is the relationship manager within the team .. He has been at Milan for sometime.

p.s. I posted this news in the Serie A thread Filipo .. But good idea anyways (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

^^ Just as I posted this one, I saw yours...

Does this change of the team manager mean anything in particular?

Not sure if it does ... But from what I understand, he is like the buffer between the team and the coach. Will this change mean anything in particular .. I'm not sure, cuz he was with Milan for so long, maybe he will take something with him something which Milan need on the bench. But then again, Milan know what they are doing, so I don't believe it will change much (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Milan director Umberto Gandini has been elected one of 3 vice presidents of the new 'European Club Association' (the new much larger club body that takes over for G-14). He was the only vice president to be elected unanimously. (by the way, he speaks very fluent English. saw him interviewed on sky sports news the other day).

The ECA president is Bayern's Karl-Heinze Rumenigge and the other two vice presidents are Barca's Joan Laporta and Rangers' John McClelland.

There is also doctor of Parma, Massimo Manara as our new Doctor and Vittorio Mentana instead of my lovely Silvana Ramaccioni that will be in '' role of accompanying manager of Milan in the home games.''

So there's a very small notice on Mediaset's website that Meersseman, director of Milan Lab, may be leaving because of all the criticism the medical department has been receiving.

Couldn't find the Carletto thread....

QUOTE
AC Milan coach Ancelotti most wanted manager in Europe

Italian super agent Enzo Bronzetti says AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is the most wanted manager in Europe.

“Ancelotti is the most sought-after Coach in the football universe,” said Bronzetti, who has a close relationship with Milan.

“He is wanted by Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Roma.

“There is a great fondness between Ancelotti and [Vice-President Adriano] Galliani. Because of this they will only decide what to do at the end of May.”

It's tribal; but they don't usually bluff on direct quotes. Only their transfer rumours are cr@p.

Actually they're accurate for this one. Bronzetti DID say that (or at least there are Italian sources indicating he said it).

Is anything Bronzetti ever says not utter crap?

Anyway, all those teams mentioned are after European success so I would not be too surprised if it's true.

I hope finishing second place doesn't mean Ancelotti will stay as in all honesty, I think that would be bad for Milan.
