Never! I have a lot more where that came from. Esp end of the season, if we win there'll be one helluva 'I told you so' post.., and if we don't there'll be a 'Calm down, it's not the end of the world' post.

Nahh...it's just the joy of actually getting to see a Milan match (delayed cast, so what) after a long long time.

Also, I think it's a big mistake to be close to your players. He's friends with them and while I'm not a coach I've heard from numerous managers that the two roles are incompatible, they can't all be mistaken. You can't be very strict when you want to be close to them. Also, when you never punish them for their bad performances and let them feel secure about their place it's only normal that they'll get complacent.

Milan just like big family. I think not only Carlo close to players. And i Think it is veru good. It's our squad. I can remember Cannavaro saying that Carlo like father for his players and he is fantastic coach.

I agree with dst. Being too close to your players makes them complacent and next to impossible to motivate them over time.

Yep, a head coach/manager should never be 'friends' with their managers. Players having respect for the manager is one thing, and they should be able to feel like they can talk to a manager, so there needs to be something there, but friendship? I think that's what the assistant manager is for, they're usually the ones that understand the players better than the manager.

Seem your view differs from the hard core season ticket holders my friend....and i know which camp i'm in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

just because a few in curva decided to up that banner that means it's the overall view?

they (as in most of the people that attend the games regularly) were just protesting the other game, directed at the coach and management and players of course.

Why protest about Serie A ticket prices at a UEFA game? That's like boycotting McDonald's after a bad meal at Sizzler.
