QUOTE (Il Capitano @ Feb 28 2008, 02:28 AM) Yeah it's getting old, I don't even have the strength to complain about it anymore. Very true. It's like playing the same old music for the 100000th time

QUOTE Ancelotti demands focus February 28 2008, 8:13:24Carlo Ancelotti has demanded that AC Milan stop throwing away valuable points. The Rossoneri coach saw his side squander a 1-0 lead at Catania to end up drawing 1-1 in Sicily. The result meant that the European champions slipped out of the final Champions League berth, two points behind Fiorentina. The 48-year-old said: "We wasted an opportunity here, as we took the lead and were unable to then secure an important result. "We allowed ourselves to be taken by surprise on their equaliser which was disappointing. We aren't sharp enough at the moment." (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Despite their inconsistent form, which has seen the San Siro giants draw three out of their last five outings, the form of Alexandre Pato has been one major positive point. The Brazilian was on target at the Massimino stadium and Ancelotti claimed: "Pato's goal was world class." The 18-year-old sensation, who only burst on to the Serie A scene in January, has already scored five goals from eight appearances to make him the team's third-top goalscorer. In the picture, Alexandre Pato in the build-up to his goal at Catania
Only with the Alexandre Pato-Ricky Kaka tandem will AC Milan finish in a top-four position. What do you think?SeriaA.tv If I were Ancelotti I'd stop making demands, and start fielding more attacking formations. I mean Favalli, Brocchi, Emerson, Ambrosini in the same line up should be classified as a crime - particularly against teams like Catania. QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 28 2008, 09:23 PM) If he was asked why he didn't field a different team for league games, he'd probably come up with some crappy excuse about how the players get tired playing so many games. Then for Pete's sake play the other players in the squad: Gorcuff, Simic, Paloschi, Bonera, instead of slow and old legs. If you have to draw against mid-table teams, then I'd much rather draw with younger players - at least they'll gain something from this. Leave the tiring players for important matches. Seedorf should only play ten games at max in the league per season: only against the top five clubs. The chance he squandered in this match early in the game was only because of his slow movement. And that proved critical in the end. Just because you're unique and have won 4 Champion Leagues with different clubs doesn't make you an automatic starter: (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG: http://i31.tinypic.com/2s9654k.jpg)
