" My dream is to sign for Viola for the 2nd time." To be honest I never wanted to go back to Milano." Well, so get the **** out you piece of crap! Naughty word removed.

Old news, Brocchi wanted to leave in january because he wasn't playing, but to come and say I never wanted to play for Milan is really surprising (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) But I don't see where is the betrayal, Brocchi never was considered first choice and maybe he didn't want to come back because he knew that he hadn't his place in a team like Milan, the only thing he should have done is say the same thing the first time! Anyhoo, what does this this has to do with Milan family aspect? He'll never have his place as a starter in Milan, wants to leave and never wanted to come back, it's fine by me! Oddo can come out and say the same thing for all I care, those primavera players who never made it when they were young can say what ever they want, the fact remains that if they are/were really good players they would have stayed at Milan!!!

QUOTE (morgoth @ Jun 15 2008, 01:34 PM) Anyhoo, what does this this has to do with Milan family aspect? it's because apparently certain players stay with milan because of the they've been around for along time, the family. if he dint want to come back in the first place he could have arranged for that, since milan dont go for players that dont want to come. rather than being grateful for being recalled, winning a another CL (almost fcked that up as well with that pretty giveaway in injury time @ old trafford), and a nice improved contract he spews this BS at us. its quite clear that there are many players that are comfortable here, with zero pressure from the coach (it took him till march to start saying were playing badly) nor management.

Well are we sure of the source?? If it is confirmed, then he's shipping out for sure. It's at times like these, that I have to respect Gila. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) So Brocchi out, Flamini in? Fine with me, but we're still short one mid, and theoretically two strikers, since Borriello is not official. You have people like Brocchi, and you have people like Bonera. *sigh*

Its unbelievable how footballers react and speak nowadays. One day, they worship u to death and the next day, they never want to play and bla bla bla. I hope football will never turn to be like wrestling (WWF, WCW) a little spormanship with a pile of craps. *sigh* F OFF Brocchiostupido!!!

^^
Bonera is the opp end of the spectrum from Brocchi. A 28 year old, can keep his mouth shut and play well when called upon. While a 30+ who's not got the best talent in the business, says this.
I still am not sure about this though. Coz I remember him praising Milan, and dissing Inter. Also it was when he came back to Milano, that he won the freakin CL.

I still don't see the point, it's not like it's because of the family aspect that Brocchi is at Milan! He was loaned to Fiorentina and had a great season (he played regularly) and then Milan brought him back and he was more than useful for us, simple as that. Now that he wants to leave, believe me he'll leave, no one is going to make him stay! If we sold Sheva because he wanted to go, what do you think is going to happen to Brocchi?! Again, the family aspect is absolutely not at cause here and so is Milan, it's all about the player's will and nature ...

The point is that he said "To be honest, I never wanted to go back to Milano". If he felt like that then why not demand a transfer before being recalled?

QUOTE (Habitant @ Jun 16 2008, 11:52 PM) He was useful, he replaced more than once and did it very well, against l'Ajax and Fiorentina for example ... it's not because he doesn't score some decisive goals that he should be labelled as a mediocre player!

Of course it's not about 2 games, those were just an example ... just like you mentioned the CL semi final as an example (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) You guys think Brocchi is useless, don't deserve to be on a football field or to wear a football shoes, fine but don't expect me to agree with you! In fact, I'm surprised you don't consider Gattuso, Ambrosini, Bonera, Kaladze, favalli, Kalac, Simic, Emerson and Gilardino as mediocre players too! The later I witnessed all what you said about him, but I'm sure a couple of years you were also bashing the others and label them mediocre players for the same reasons ... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) you see the difference with the ones you named above and brocchi is that they can come on as a sub, or play a smaller role and do well, while brocchi is just useless no matter what role you put him in(at least with milan). guy like favalli and emerson were once excellent players their just over the the hill now, kaladze has had a couple of good season, gila was amazing with parma and has scored some crucial goals had a good first season with us, gattuso + ambro are great at what they do and simic bonera are excellent depth/subs for milan. brocchi he just doesnt have a place on the team.
