I don't know if a similar topic already exists, but it would kind of be nice to have all the new shirt discussions (and classic ones) on one place. Also, here's a fake new 2013 shirt. Naturally, this won't be it, but anyway, Galliani said it will be a radical change, and looking at this...made me realize how terrible it could go. Hopefully we won't try emulate Arsenal in shirt design as well. (IMG: http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2012/240/a/d/ac_milan_2013___14_kits_by_napolion06-d5cpnmx.png)

Sure, play around with the stripe width and collar a little bit like always but it should always be red and black stripes. If we are going to make "radical changes" then do it with the away shirt. I care less about its look and I don't feel like it's as untouchable.

I don't think so, why? Milan are in the Adidas family, hopefully we won't change camps because Nike really made a few awful shirts in recent years.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Dec 20 2012, 06:25 PM) Yes. What the hell is all that black **** over the collar and arms. Hmm, don't see it as being THAT bad. I've seen a lot worse, like the current pink ones for Juve or a few of the 3rd kits for both Barca and Arsenal. I think Nike do the striped concept a lot better than Adidas imo. The Juve and Inter home shirts always look good, while ours has ranged from bad to worse in these last few years

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Dec 20 2012, 09:27 PM) Arsenal's blue collar is nothing compared to our shitty dragging white collar. It completely ruins an otherwise good-looking shirt. Yep, I hate when they use the polo shirt type collars. The one on Arsenal's shirt is good. Real Madrid also usually have different collars. Although if I'm not mistaken last year they were stuck with the flaps as well The ones on our away shirts look infinately better

Personally I don't like either the 2nd or the 3rd kits.
As we saw in our last home game the 3rd kit looks like a 70's disco shirt and the collar inside a collar thing the 2nd kit's got going on isn't all that appealing. This last season's 2nd kit was much better.

Oh my God!!!!!!!
Hey, the crest looks like a home designed insignia made for a cheap shirt-bazaar sell. You know the fake shirts you buy on a bazaar for a low price but with one obvious mistake/difference from the original?
Appalling, I find that appalling. The first shirt I can barely stand, but okay, the English crest has some weight since it's a traditional insignia. But this one?

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 23 2014, 01:55 PM) Yeah, but in heraldic terms this combination is called English cross, no matter where or in what context (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Yeah but it's not meant to represent England, which is what many think because of the club's beginnings. And yeah, I'm afraid that's the official 2nd kit. Have to say, this season's kits are probably as disappointing as the ones we had in 07/08. The third kit looks like a keeper's kit, the first kit looks like PJs that you would wear on a rainy night in and the 2nd kit could have had potential but is ruined by those horizontal lines at the bottom and that god awful crest. @ jack, since when? I don't remember anything about changing the club crest... And really it does not make any sense to put on the logo of one of the club's other brands, if they wanted to, they could have advertised Casa Milan in some other way, not putting it in place of the club crest!

It's cool actually. Each one of our shirts has three different logos. The home jersey has the Milan Cross. The Away has the Casa Milan logo. And the third kit has our official jersey.

More to the point I was one of the few fans watching ha.
I do like the kit, just hate the Ambrose flag on it.
Han, it's not the St George's Cross, it's St Ambrose' flag, patron saint of Milan. Yep, I know that, it's the Milan coat of arms. Still no matter what it's meant to represent, I think it's ridiculous that we're using it 2 seasons in a row

Wonder why it's even SES and Honda, these ads usually involve the Adidas guys. Would have thought Bona would be there considering he's been more of a central figure than either of those 2 Anyway, it's a photoshoot, you know it's a sad situation when we're even complaining about the posing and who's doing said posing (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Completely forgot to comment our new shirt. It has been on my mind for quite some time; have we definitively decided to rebrand our shirts? I mean, this is what the second or third season with the English cross on our main red-black shirts? I really miss our badge, hopefully this is the last season of playing around with it.

Agreed, I think they're trying to go for a retro-chic look or something with it, but it just doesn't work, especially with how big it is.
If they really want to use it, just slap it on the black 3rd kit

Yes, which only tells you how bad our kits have been for a while now. Away kit is really dull and boring. I'd wish Adidas would realize that. I mean if we wanna aim at youth and new fans, we should be able to produce an attractive or interesting kit. The away kit looks like it could have been for the 07/08 season, not 17/18.
And I'm not very happy with the Diesel thing either. I expect them to produce more Milan related stuff. Especially the blazer or jacket for the coach should still have a Milan crest.

I think Diesel are actually perfect to reach the younger demo. As for the kits, the 3rd one was designed by the fans, I don't know which one won, but I think that could be a really interesting shirt The home kit I really like it because it's so classic, it has the perfect balance of red and black as well.

Naah, I think Diesel might be okay (I really dislike them as a brand - standing for expansive "casual wear", phony overpriced chick and intentionally cheap look). What they've done so far with Milan was very disappointing. I went to a big Diesel shop recently and the have a smaller Milan section. All of the articles (shirts, blazers, jackets) labeled as Milan (don't know the exact line name) products do not have a club crest or a single detail connected to our club other then a occasional red line or something similar.
I repeat - marketing wise it may be okay for us to go with Diesels "shabby-chick" brand, but I don't like the effort they've put in it so far.

I couldn't find the Milan line on the online store. I really wanted the Milan edition bomber jacket. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Very similar to this season's which was the best one we've had in years. I also hope we keep the white short/sock combo. They look better than the black sock/white short we'd been sporting for the last few years.
Anyway, Puma generally tend to make very nice designs, so I wasn't expecting anything less than this. The away and 3rd kits are what I'm most looking forward to though as they can play around a bit more with them, and I like what they've been doing with he white Italy kits for the last decade or so
