De Jong and his agent are meeting today to discuss his future. Which presumably means an offer may be on the table and we might be losing him in January. Most likely to Man Utd.

2. Is a £20M+ really realistic for a player in his final year of contract with us? 3. Nothing is guaranteed. Not us, not United in the CL. LvG may be the only edge. 4. What makes you say de Jong is loyal X-O? Just out of curiosity... |

And Mexes has said many times over that he wants to stay, even if he needs to take a pay cut As for the club, they'd be stupid not to jump at the chance at renewing the deal for a wage cut as he's the best we can have right now on the budget we're on. If Mexes leaves I can't see us replacing him with someone equally as good |
