QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 8 2013, 07:16 PM) Irrelevant. If you say/do something that is widely considered an offence, then it's an offence no matter the intent. The same logic can be applied to anything.
If there wasn't an issue, I don't imagine Paolo would be having pictures taken of him and Balotelli. Well....i guess it's your right to stay offended. QUOTE Looks like Paolo is the vice-president of Milan, which makes things a little worse. Lends credibility to the media aiy? QUOTE A couple of really nice touches there between Balotelli and El Shaarawy and passes that were very nice ideas but they weren't quite on the same page. I can't wait to see what they can do together after an extended run of games and practice. I'd say give them time but we're pressing for 3rd, so i hope they can get on the same page soon. I thought he linked better with Niang in the other game. |

QUOTE (han2503 @ Feb 8 2013, 12:27 AM) I don't think it's a non-story.
If you want to be accountable then you have to do it across-the-board
You cannot pick and choose as it pleases you. The fact is that the name Berlusconi is automatically linked with Milan and sadly enough, Silvio and his brother share the name.
At least the club should put out a statement to distance themselves from such BS. At least it shows support to the player if they're not doing it for media purposes meh, the media wanted to take you for a ride and you jumped in. It wasn't intended as a racial slur nor was it received as such. So....the point is moot, it's phony outrage to drum up controversy. Anyway...here's some highlight clips from the international, be sure to check out the astronauts @ 2:49 (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM8YM_BYstU |

QUOTE (han2503 @ Feb 7 2013, 11:57 PM) What I find ridiculous in this case is all the big talk and fanfare against racism the club was promoting after that mentioned Boateng incident and now with this cr@p from Silvio's brother haha come on man, it's just the media drumming up a non story. Classic guilt by association. His brother does not speak for Milan nor is he employed by Milan. Seriously who doesn't have an uncle or a relative who shoots their mouth off once in a while and say inappropriate crap. S'all good, will go away in a week. |

QUOTE (CHU-LIP @ Oct 17 2010, 03:39 AM) On the Red and Black forums I predicted two goals by Pato with Zlatan having a key role in it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) |

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Oct 12 2010, 08:41 AM) I know it's just another friendly, but here's Pato's tonight goal against Ukraine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh6JeBU0m6IThe more interesting bit is his goal scoring record under Dunga and Menezes. 1 in 8 and 3 in 3 respectively. I hope Dunga is suffering somewhere! Nice Brazil nursing him back to match fitness for us (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Oct 11 2010, 05:23 PM) I think this is BS. There's zero mention of this on acmilan.com or gazzetta.it, and the only sources getting a whiff of this "story" are Swedish, and no Italian ones. Seriously, he's instantly whisked off to Milanello simply after a mere kickabout in Ibra's backyard?
Plus, it's Goal.crap; 'nuff said. In the end, this was probably a fantasy camp experience and nothing more.
Of course, I wouldn't put it past Galliani to even consider for a millisecond signing this guy, as he'd be worth about five cents. Keeping young talents out of the media limelight would make sense imo. But you could be right. Like you said even if he doesn't become "Milan material" he's free and he might be Serie A material and Milan can profit from it plus the kid gets a chance @ a career. winwin |
