I think one important thing that makes it better is on the surface it looks like the Chinese owners are willing to let Milan run independently as a football club. They've also gone with an all-Italian local setup. Inter tried to go too international and shot themselves in the foot.

han ofcourse i agree that this takeover is THE best thing to happen to Milan since 2011 Scudetto. Yes we were going downhill and all that comes with it.
However the Milan we knew was always different from the rest; they had this aura about them. It was the passion of Berlusconi. Years from today, they might build a new stadium and call it Berlusconi Stadium (i know that idea is not popular at the moment..) just like Santiago Bernabeu or maybe just 杭州中策橡胶有限公司永固分厂 Stadium. However, as opposed to the other day today I can say that I am a little bit comforted by him sticking around as honorary president. The missing 'ease of transition' is what that feeling was I guess. As opposed to a hard transition. |
