Now Ronaldinho’s agent and brother Roberto de Assis says that Milan did indeed bid for the player before the beginning of the season. "Milan made an offer in the summer,†he stated. "It was for £40 million. But the operation didn't get off the ground." With the January transfer window set to open in just a few days, it remains to be seen if Milan will table a renewed offer for Ronaldinho. Reports in Spain yesterday suggested that the Rossoneri may look to offload injury-plagued striker Ronaldo in order to make space for his compatriot. Goal.com |

£40m is still way, way too much. I hope the interest is not renewed and with a bit of luck Chelsea will put in a big offer, more than we're willing to spend.

Ronaldinho won't succeed in Chelsea. I'm sure of it. Brazilians and EPL are not made for each other. if he leaves, it will be either Milan... or Madrid!
