QUOTE (berenike_10 @ Aug 28 2006, 09:42 PM) Milan alerted to Ronaldinho's Barca bust-up Milan have been alerted to a bust-up between Ronaldinho and Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard. AC milan and Chelsea have been put on red alert that Ronaldinho could demand showdown talks about his future. The World Player of the Year did not travel to Celta Vigo after angering Rijkaard by missing training on Saturday. Rijkaard had hauled in his players in response to their 3-0 humiliation by Seville in the European Super Cup final. He was furious with the Brazilian for carrying out promotional work just hours before the defeat in Monaco, where he looked below-par. Ronaldinho, 26, was the only star not to join training, invoking Rijkaard's rule that if a player does not train 48 hours before a match he is axed. One source told The Sun: "Ronaldinho was being punished. Rijkaard was showing the same rules apply for everyone, no matter how big the star is. But things are not good in the dressing room." The row puts Ronaldinho's future in the balance as he has been left waiting for nearly a year for a new contract. Not a bad choice what so ever, nevertheless i don't think barcelona will release him , even though he wants to leave the club, and if that's the case, milan will have to pay a los of chash for his services

I've just read this too. Ronaldinho hates Chelsea anyway after all their CL bust ups, hed deffo come here to team up with our Brazilian enclave no matter what Abramovich bids.
Also, I notice rossoneri 7 that you didn't post the other bit of gossip from the same page that said that Galliani and Drogba had been spotted in a Milan restraunt together. Again, just possibly rubbish, and I don't thing Drogba would go, though there was some noises last season, but Mourinho wouldn't let it happen since he'll be seriously short on top strikers then, jus tthe one as far as I can see, and that'd be Sheva!
Previously, I thought Drogba would be a nightmare, but recently I think his athletisicsm and goal scoring record would be an asset. Good in the air too. I think I would welcome him now.
I woulnt say no to Ronaldinho because he is still the best player in the world, and how could anyone say no to that. And we know Berlusc wants him. But it won't happen either I don't think, the time facotr is crushing.
This surpsie hasnt got much longer to go. My best bet is Tevez, and I hope its true!

Milan lurk after Ron "bust-up" Ronaldinho's agent has mooted a transfer to AC Milan after the player was involved in an alleged bust-up with Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard. The Catalans claim the Brazilian did not play in Monday's Liga match away to Celta Vigo because of a foot injury, but a club source has suggested otherwise. A Camp Nou insider told the Sun that Ronaldinho was left out by Rijkaard as a sanction for missing training. "He was being punished," said the source. "Rijkaard was showing rules apply to everyone, no matter how big the star. But things are bad in the dressing room." Meanwhile, Ronaldinho's brother and agent Roberto de Assis has admitted that a move to the San Siro was a "possibility" and that it would more than make up for the disappointment of failing to tie up a deal for Ronaldo. "The transfer of Ronaldinho to Milan is possible and would be bigger business for the team than the transfer of Ronaldo," he told Corriere dello Sport. Premiership champions Chelsea have also registered their interest in the World Player of the Year, and are believed to have had a 100m euro bid rejected last season. The 26-year-old is the star of the Barcelona team that won both La Liga and the Champions League last season, and has scored 41 goals in 93 Primera Division appearances. Despite a subdued World Cup he is almost universally recognised as the best player on the planet. Eurosport.com

QUOTE (aaron @ Aug 29 2006, 09:26 AM) That joke of a team that played in the world cup was all Perreira's fault. It's not because Kaka and Ronaldinho can't play together, the problem was his insisting on that 'magic square' thing. If you play both Kaka and Ronnie in the same formation then only one striker would be needed. IF and that's a big if, Ronnie ever comes to Milan we would only need one striker to play in front of him and Kaka in a xmas tree formation, or like in the Sacchi days. Gullit played in a much more withdrawn position then Van Basten.
