maybe because milan board stinks ... not a single famous player yet this season ...

I don't want a famous player. I want quality. 'Milan-quality'. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Ex: Kaka' was famous (in Europe) before coming to Milan? No.

There are some pretty good strikers that we could bring. Rafael Sobis, brazillian, young and quality from Internacional de Porto Alegre. Really good. Just an example.

as I know there are to kind of attackers: forwards and strikers.
We have strikers (pipo, gila, amo, boriello) but not forwards (like Sheva was) we need an attacker which can hold the boll, dribble a defender, assist to strikers, and score goals. Iaquinta can't hold the boll, and also can't dribble someone.
With one word he is NOT a player for MILAN.

If this truely happens (which I doubt) I think you should do both, laugh at our incompetent management and cry at the prospect of seeing this excuse for a striker that can only score from the penalty spot playing in the Milan shirt

If this is true I'm going to jam a pencil in my eye, I used to pull on my hair when Lippi would bring this idiot in instead of Pippo, I can't imagine him coming as a supposed Sheva replacement, if that happens then I can honestly say that Milan have hit rock bottom.

Totally right, I haven't seen this Rafael Sobis play but from what I hear he is really good also, I said in another thread we should try to get Giuseppe Rossi from Man U, saw some videos of him and I'm speechless, he is that good, some of the goals that he scored are very "Sheva like" and his dribbling skills are better then sheva's. I think if we got him he would be a big hit here

Yeah, but go and tell it to the Milan board. They're mules. They think that with Bonera and Favalli our defense is covered. WTF, Favalli is a failure and Bonera can't be Stam's replacement. They go and sign players like Amoroso and Vieri instead of young promising blood. Just look at what we missed and definitely should have bought this summer: Buffon, Zambrotta, Gallas, Ibrahimovic etc. With those players we could win both Champions League and Serie A. But no, if Milan board says we get old experienced players, then that's how's it going to happen. F@ck them, really, f@ck Braida and Galliani (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I'd say Amoroso is a forward, not a striker... Borriello, I can't really tell, I haven't watched him enough to have a professional opinion.

Ok maybe I was wrong about him, but DO you think he can hold that position and play behind Pippo or Gila. NO never.
If Milan won't sign any good FW then Gila and Pippo will be the first choices, so there will not be a FW which can play the role of supporting-striker.

AC Milan coach Ancelotti favours £10M Iaquinta
tribalfooball.com - August 16, 2006

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is interested in Udinese centre-forward Vincenzo Iaquinta.

The Italian World Cup winner is available from Udinese at £10 million and is rated highly by Ancelotti.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi would prefer to land a big foreign name to calm fans after Inter's double signing last week of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hernan Crespo.

However, with approaches for Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid) and Ronaldinho (Barcelona) all being shut-down, Iaquinta is looming as a top target.

Udinese's £10 million demands could also be lowered with Milan offering striker Marco Borriello in part-exchange
