I'm not sure...maybe it's a mistake. I cannot find any logical reason why this Saib has been called-up, apart from that he's a friend to Zizou or something like that. But the World team call-ups are a bit surprising to me. Why didn't they bring more of the oldies, like Romario, Roberto Carlos or Maldini? Paolo would be ideal for this.
Anyone noticed who's missing for France?
Oh, and I'm not sure were to watch this match either. Hope Eurosport will make themselves usefull for once.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 9 2008, 04:48 AM) I'm not sure...maybe it's a mistake. That's what my younger brother asked me earlier today? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Why no Paolo. My answer was that it's a crap game commemorating a crap win. I don't care for it one squat. Plus most of these players are past their prime, and even though it may be fun to watch, the quality of football won't be worth writing home about. I'll be interested in any highlights of it, though, if they come up. But, honestly, no Maldini in any World XI is probably the joke of the season. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) They've got Hierro and Cocu, though.

Is Paolo back after his rehab for the knee. I suspect he's not playing for medical reasons. He's probably still strengthening it.

I think Il Capitano and Rino are scheduled to take part in Seedorf's charity gig at Allianz Arena on the same day as the French game.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 9 2008, 03:40 PM) World Cup final goal scorer, Manu Petit! Exactly! I'm not sure why. I'll look forward to see some of the old hacks, like Lama, Lizarazu and Dugarry...
