lol we need to beat these basterds next season. I think that we have about 4 more Scudetto's than them? And also it looks much better in our Jersey (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) also wats up with that Red White Green Circles on Maldini's Jersey? I just become Milano this season so I don't know much (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
*

Next season it will be a different story: without points deduction, with real striker, our player will have enough time to rest and hopefully better transfer campaign.

We have 17 serie a titles. For them it will be 15 this season.

It's a serie a badge. The league winner wears it for a season

I said Materazzi would score, and that they would lose.

If you are refering to misha's sig pics, then the one on Maldini's shirt is the Coppa Italia patch, I know it looks out of place there, we are accustomed to seeing it on Inter's shirt. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The one on Sheva's shirt is the Scudetto patch.

Both are worn for an entire season fro the current holders at the time

Seven refs suspended by AIA

The Italian Referees’ Association has suspended the seven referees involved in the latest wave of the Calciopoli scandal.

The Naples prosecutors closed their match-fixing probe last week after almost a year and named 48 people suspected of wrongdoing.

The latest findings are now expected to be passed on to Saverio Borrelli, the head of the Italian Football Federation’s investigative team, who might open a new sporting trial.

AIA chief Cesare Gussoni had announced that it would wait for official documentation regarding the accusations before making any decisions.

But the referees’ governing body has now opted to suspend Paolo Bertini, Stefano Cassarà, Antonio Dattilo, Marco Gabriele, Gianluca Paparesta, Tiziano Pieri and Salvatore Racalbuto.

Assistants Marcello Ambrosino and Duccio Baglioni were also suspended as a precautionary measure.

A total of 39 games from the 2004-05 campaign were among a list of incriminated ties, 15 of which were not previously made known.

Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi [pictured] was again at the centre of the scandal after being accused of attempting to influence the outcome of the matches.

The now infamous Bianconeri official is also thought to have provided a number of referees with Swiss SIM cards that were considered safe from wiretapping.

It just keeps getting better. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

[Quick translation: after tv review, Adriano given two match ban for diving in the game against Roma].

That seems a bit extreme. David Bentley and Morten Gamst Pedersen would only play about 5 games a season if that happened over here.

Quick question. Nothing to do with Milan:

Does anybody know why Inter have the St. Georges Cross (England flag) on the back of their shirts, above the name?

And their away shirt (next year) will be a white one with a BIG "England flag" in the front.

It's the symbol of Milano (city).

We have it in our logo, on the right: (IMG:http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1845000/images/_1846678_acmilan150.jpg)

Thanks Porty.

I just thought it was in Milan's logo because of something to do with the founder being English or something.

Nop. The badge represents the club colours and the flag of the Comune di Milano (Municipality of Milan), with the acronym ACM at the top and the foundation year (1899) at the bottom.

Isn't it a feckin' beautiful logo? We don't need to "update" it like Inter or Juventus did lately. Our is amazing.
