Juventus target Alexandre Pato of Porto Alegre has admitted that he is ready for a move to Europe.

The Brazilian talent is seen by many as the new Kaka and has impressed Bianconeri talent scout Pasquale Sensibile, who is currently in Paraguay watching the U-20 South American Championship.

The 17-year-old is valued at £10.7m and reports suggest that Milan have already had a £7m offer rejected.

“I am ready for Europe and an important club,” said the striker whose outfit won the 2006 FIFA World Club Championship. “I want to become the new Ronaldo or Ronaldinho.

“I think my experience with the Under-20 squad has helped me grow from a professional point of view despite my age.”

According to Tuttosport, Serie A leaders Inter have also targeted the player and may make a bid in the near future.

But Juventus could be in pole position given the fact that his agent is Gilmar Veloz, a man they have a good relationship with seeing as he is also the representative of former Juve ace Emerson.

The Bianconeri are also looking at Defensor Montevideo defender Martin Caceres and Edison Cavani of Danubio Montevideo.

i remember when i saw ronaldinho going from PSG to Barcelona , why we must repeat that with pato ?

Juventus won't be in a position to spend that kind of money on a 17 year old. I heard that they will be forced to sell again come next season to balance the books.

And Inter have enough forwards as it is

Agnelli who?? You probably have not noticed but Giuve are currently playing in Serie B... if there was still a considerable Agnelli power then this wouldn't have happened, just like in the '80's!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Juve going to Serie B, was something inevitable .. All the facts were there and the court ruled accordingly. Nothing they could do about it; but I was replying to the ppl who said Juve dont have no $$ (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Nothing to do about it?? Ha-ha!! Inevitable...

So you don't know what happened in the '80s: Milan was demoted as a result of the "greengrocer" betting scandal as we all know. The thing is that there were as grave facts and accusations on the court against Giuve as well but guess what, they avoided relegation... simply because the big one, Gianni Agnelli threatened he'd fire half (half... you get a glimpse of his power) of FIAT's workers... something noone is able to do now!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Nothing was inevitable for him! Just remember what Moggi said: "If Agnelli was here, nothing of this would have happened"........ (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

imagine when we have ronaldo / kaka / Maybe ronaldinho Plus pato in our team !!!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

You've a point there. The problem is that the great Gianni Agnelli is not alive anymore. At the moment the only "Agnelli" who is a part of Juventus is John Elkann, greatson of the big Agnelli. Elkann is obviously the head of IFIL, head of FIAT, Ferrari, etc etc etc.

He's going to help Juventus and he has $$$ enough to put Juventus back on track, no doubt. The problem is that he has not the "influence" of Gianni Agnelli, Silvio Berlusconi or even Angelo Moratti (father of today's Moratti - Inter's owner).

Do you know what I mean? It's not only about the money but the power and the influence you have.
Milan will have a problem when Berlusconi... you know. Piersilvio Berlusconi (his son) or his brother Paolo Berlusconi are probably ones who could sub Silvio then.

Anyway, this are big families with a lot (I mean, A LOT) of $$$. The future of Italian football (Milan and Juventus) are up to this gentlemen.

Yes .. I know that, Milan has been demoted in the past twice (in fact..) ..

Yes Moggi did say that .. But even if so; Milan had been demoted as one had to pay for it ! And this time around it was Juve .. That fact that Juve had been demoted doesnt mean that they wont have the backing of the Agnelli family ..

And I wasnt talking about the influence of the family at first hand, rather their $$ liquidity to invest in Juve.

Yes I agree with this .. The influence of certain individuals is great.

In 1982, during the WC my country had participated in that tournament in spain .. Against France the head of our footballing govt. body went down to the pitch and convinced the ref to cancel France's goal against Kuwait. And he was VERY influencial during that time.

So yes, certaqin ppl have influences over the outcome of any ruling; but as far as liquid $$ go, the respective families that head Inter, Juve, and Milan can invest enough to get their teams back on track.

The second time it was because of finishing last, nothing to do with any scandal.
