QUOTE (arivanjj @ Jan 24 2007, 08:53 PM) i agree with you.. money would be better than trading him in.. Why would we want to get rid of Oli?? You think he has gotten enough chances?? Hell no!! Why? I don't know why, ask Carlo. You think Pippo and Gila deserved all the chances they got when they wheren't scoring (well one of them still isn't scoring (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )? And this when Oli contributes far more to the over all play then both of them combined. Oli should stay and be given the chances he deserves. End of story.

You know the thing I don't get, is why Carlo plays with Oli's confidence. He treats him like he doesn't trust him and always subs him early on in the game. Even when he is doing good... They should give him confidence. Oliveira is a capable player!

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Jan 24 2007, 02:31 PM) Dont get me wrong, what I meant is where is the harm if Galliani negociates in the name of R9, basically he'll negociate the price and R9 pays it, That way Real don't lose it's face and Milan will not pay them, I think that's what is in Kojok's mind (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) QUOTE (arivanjj @ Jan 24 2007, 08:43 PM) i think Galliani might include Oliveira as part of the deal and load him to them till june .. Are you kidding, who's gonna play in the CL, Jackomeyang?!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Jan 24 2007, 09:04 PM) You know the thing I don't get, is why Carlo plays with Oli's confidence. No one knows what is going between them and what they talk about, I'm sure Carlo takes the time to explain the situation to Oli and why he doesn't play him! Anyway, I think Oli should play in all the matches, even he doesn't start, it will give him more confidence and make him feel like a part of the squad, especially with all the rumors around R9!

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 25 2007, 12:32 AM) Would you even compare their records? Oli hasn't scored even half of what Pippo has in the big scene. I know that Pippo is old but that still means nothing. It's like saying Adebayor is better than Henry cause he's younger. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) No no, when Henry plays you can see that he's still good, it's different with Pippo since the guy is good only when he scores, and he doesn't he decomes a burden for the whole team, Oli even if doesn't score he still can be usefull by playing out of the box, making space for the box striker, running on the flanks and dribbling, I mean the guy is talented it's obvious when you watch him play, he's just lacking some confidence and accuracy!

Pippo's just a bit selfish, that's all. He may not be a beauty to watch, but he's still very useful to the team. I will never forget how many times he's saved our @sses in the last 3-4 years. Even when he was injured around 2004 and 2005, he still used to score on those very few matches he played (i.e. Milan-Sparta Praga of 2004, Milan-Celtic of 2005 and so on). Now he's 33, he's old and it's comprehensible he's not the one he used to be. But bashing him out of the team after all he's done for us. Man, that's harsh. Oli on the other hand hasn't done much for this team so far. It's been 5 months now and we haven't seen something special from him saving the first match against Lazio. He's definitely lacking something, yes. Now I'm not saying he's not talented, he's 26 and he's a whole new career in front of him. But saving someone who has merely played a full season for us, and knocking someone who's been like our saviour in the last 5 years sounds ridiculous to me.
