QUOTE (milanistar @ Jan 17 2007, 12:13 PM)
By the way I've just read the interview of Galliani with la Gazzetta, and he said (if I understood) that R9 would have to buy out hs contract with Real (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Can someone confirm it please, here 's the link Link

QUOTE (milanistar @ Jan 17 2007, 01:55 PM)

Galliani just said what is on the official website.

QUOTE
ADRIANO GALLIANI ON RONALDO
1/17/2007

MILAN - Arriving at the Football League this morning, Adriano Galliani had this to say about Ronaldo: 'The Ronaldo hypothesis exists. Now we are waiting to see what Real Madrid have to say. The hypothesis is for a permanent transfer and a contract for a year and half at a figure inferior to what I have read in the newspapers today. The contract is the same one in length that he has with Real. The offer is to free up his contract with a permanent deal.'

Ronaldo buy is contract? I don't think so. Milan just seem keen on getting R9 almost for free... paying him 6M/euros per year (without the image-rights).

The decision is up to R.Madrid right now.

Galliani said they made an offer less than what has been mentioned in the papers. But still, I'm starting to get confused. Can someone clarify the salary situation in Milan? Who is the most payed player and stuff?

As far as I know he wants 3,5 which is too much IMO...

As for the the fat one I think ate least our attack can't be much worse than it is now, and maybe Ronaldo and Pippo form an unstoppable Senior duo soon (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ....
But the money they spent on this fat guy could have been invested more wisely (considering this really IS a done deal...)

The senior players make about 2.5 mil a season, senior being Maldini, Gattuso, Kaka, Seedorf etc

How much would that be a week and how much would Ronaldo get

Rui Costa was on the top 5 of Milan best paid players. He got 4,6M/euros per season.

Shevchenko 5M. Totti about 1 year ago was the best paid player in Italy getting 5,5M in Roma in Italy.

This could either blow up in our faces or it could work out quite nicely.

Ronaldo will almost ceratinaly score goals, the problem is, will he play as another box striker because he can't run anymore or will he act as a forward like he is supposed to be.

I think him Kaka and Oli playing together could be a nice combo.

I'm just not sure this is a wide decision on our part

It's not a 'done' deal yet. At least were doing something to try strengthen the squad, its a step in the right direction. Just a shame its not with youth and rising talent.

Lack of good numbers to choose, I'd say #14.
