Adriano Galliani, vicepresidente del Milan, fa il punto a Sky sulla situazione Oddo: "Noi abbiamo presentato un'offerta importante, ma domanda e offerta sono separate da tre milioni di euro. Non so come finirà, ma credo sia difficile che la trattativa si concluda. Comunque, in rosa ci sono tanti validi terzini destri, con i quali proseguiremo la stagione in corso". Quindi, sulla possibilità Trezeguet: "Non è assolutamente ipotizzabile uno scambio con Gilardino. Poi è chiaro che il francese è un giocatore che piace a tutti". Chiusura su Beckham: "Ormai ha deciso di andare a Los Angeles, preferendo i consigli di Tom Cruise ai miei. E ha fatto bene. In ogni caso, Arrigo Sacchi mi aveva assicurato sull'impegno assoluto del ragazzo, indipendentemente da quanto accade fuori dal campo. Analogie con i Los Angeles Galaxy? Nessuna, le due trattative erano ben distinte. Beckham al Milan avrebbe avuto un contratto sportivo, mentre i diritti d'immagine sarebbero andati al calciatore".

See, somehow I understand Milan decision, I mean 7M+Foggia is a lot for the 30 yo Oddo, Ok the guy is very good, one of the best RB in Italy plus we need him desperately, but Lolito is really pushing it too far cause he knows we need him and he don't want to sell his captain and best player.

Oddo has made it perfectly clear that he wants to come. Now if Lotito wants to miss out on the chance of getting 7 mil plus Foggia and just let Oddo leave on a free transfer in the summer then that's his choice.

If he is that stupid and let's this happen that is. And I don't think he will.

We can afford to give them 2 more mil. Fact is we absolutely need Oddo, Cafu was terrible today, I can't see us going anywhere with just him as our RB

btw, yeah I think it ends in the summer of 08, still Lotito will have to give in, by the next transfer market Oddo'd price will drop significantly because of his age and the fact that if he doesn't renew Lazio will be forced to sell him because they will lose him on a free transfer, so the ball wouldn't be in their court anymore and would have to settle for what is offered to them.

Oddo still dreaming of Milan

Lazio defender Massimo Oddo has revealed that he still hopes that his transfer to Milan will be finalised this month.

The world champion has made it clear that he wants a San Siro move, where he started his career in the Rossoneri youth team, but the deal has stalled because of Lazio’s demands.

“I am not 100 per cent serene, but I am a professional and I have always given my all on the pitch,” said Oddo to Sky Italia on Sunday after the 1-1 draw with Siena at the Stadio Olimpico.

“The club knows what my desire is – this is an important opportunity for me, which would allow me to play in the Champions League.

“I am 30-years-old, I cannot ignore this offer and Lazio must remember that my contract expires in a year.

“I don’t want to make any more comments, I am the player and Claudio Lotito the President – I only hope that this situation will end soon,” concluded Oddo.

Coach Delio Rossi confirmed that he is willing to let the player go, but Lotito insists that he needs an adequate offer to convince him to let the captain join the San Siro outfit.

“Lazio have not made anyone for sale, we only said that we were willing to discuss the options which would help the player fulfil his wish,” said the Biancocelesti chief to Sky.

“However, they must convince me and the only way to do so is to make an offer which would allow us to replace Oddo with a player who could increase Lazio’s potential.”
