Whats happening with him? Does anyone have an explanation?

But first look at the video clip below - just to remember what a player he was at Parma coz to be honest before I saw this clip I did forgot.

At Parma, he was playing for one target, keeping the team in Serie A .. No wonder he was the highest scorer for two seasons w/ them, he had no pressure on him to preform well.

At Milan, the club demands sooo much .. Serie A; to win it, full stop. Champions League, to win that too, end off.

So for a player of his abilities, it's a challenge .. Had we gotten Etoo (just an example), he would be used to this pressure

The Parma Gilardino is here, in front of our eyes. He's just not supported enough by the team like he was at Parma. Look at Gudjohnsen for example. It's not that he's better than Gila, but he gets assissts from the left and from the right at Barça, so he scores regualry and also doesn't have psychological problems with the posts, like most of our squad does.

You mean THIS Gila?

He's still there. And I'm certain he will come good for us.

pKillerMax, a player with this kind of talent I think deserve to be at a club like Milan. So he's not delivering what we expect from him at the moment but none of our other strikers are at the moment.

If he was just going through a patch what he went through at Parma then it wouldn't have been as consistant as that for 2 straight season.

As I told R7 in another thread, I'm certain he will come good for Milan and I'm willing to bet my house on this.

Remeber form is temporary, class is permanent

When he was at Parma, he was the only forward and he had all the balls!
Plus his last season 17 goals (with ES) are a very good point for him!
This time I agree with han (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I don't think you're right here. Gila is just in a weak form right now. Ans he might be for the next few months, which doesn't mean he has no Milan quality. I would compare him a little bit to Miro Klose. When he was 22,23 he also came up just like Gila, but with 24,25 he just s@cked. Everyone then said Klose was way overrated after his performance in the WC 2002, and look at him now....his critics were wrong! I think we will say just the same about Gila in 2 years.

I don't think it will take the EXACT time for Gila to get back to being great. He's playing like cr@p in some games right now and he still sometimes scoring.

As I said, having one of the best scoring averages in Serie A doesn't happen just because you're the flavour of the month, it means you're a great player.

btw R7 you still have that clip of Gila missing the penalty on your desktop? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I do, I still can believe he missed that (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I know .. But what I ment was, was LaPalma actually gonna wait two yrs for him to come about !!! In reality, even if he did come about next season, I would be fine .. But the question is he isn't living up to expectations.

Gila SOMETIMES SCORED !!!!!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

He scored twice !!! That was. Nothing more, nothing less !! It's expected that he scores more, but is falling short ..

Again. I still support him as he is a Milan player, but I cant wait long for him to come about han... Basically loosing patiants with him
