The Brazilian keeper Nelson Dida courted from Chelsea of Abramovic, to remain Milan asks an important contract: four net millions a the year for four seasons. The society rossonera is arranged to grant the contract from three millions a year. The negotiation for the contractual renewal will continue in the next months. AC Milan however before to come meeting to the requests of Dida, seeks to understand how many are the possibilities of vision the next year Gianluigi Buffon dress of rossonero or Marco Amelia from livorno.

I don't think he worth that much, by the way , milan can consider other options, like buffon or amelia, even though buffon's arrival to milan seems to be quite difficult i rather to have amelia on the team, he's much younger, and very promising, but at the end, reaaally deep inside of my guts, tells me that dida will stay... but i would consider first other several options.

Chelsea doesn't need another keeper, surely not 33.
4mil for 4 years? Don't know about that. He wants to ensure a nice retirement (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you ask me I'm all for a new keeper next year. But it's just me

Far too much money for a 33 year old IMO. He has been excellent for us in the past but if his main motivation is now money then I think it is time for him to leave.

I heard it some days ago the same new. Milan just gives 3,5M/year and he wants 5.

Well, 4M/year it's not too much. Dida is a world-class keeper. In the top 3 of the world in that position so we should keep him.

We don't need a new GK .. Dida is fine; whatever he is asking, I think Milan have already negotiated w/ him and it is up to Dida to accept their offer or decline. If he does decline, it's to Milan's disadvantage, cuz u have teams like Man U that would give an arm and a leg for a GK of his calibure.

Agreed. We don't understand it, but we've got one of the Top 3 goalkeepers in the world. We should do anything to renew his contract.

I don't think it's fair to say his main motivation is money. In view of him being one of the best keepers in the world, I'd say it was a sense of self-worth.

And it's plain blasphemic to think Milan are gonna play cheapskate with this demand of his, but if they are then I'm convinced Silvio is done with and Marina is boss.

I do have a brainwave though, get rid of Kalac and get the Japanese NT keeper from the WC...Kawaguchi(was it?) I liked that dude a lot....I have no clue about his age though.

I think that its better to have a new keeper now, dida is quite old , and yes, he is a world class keeper, but he's getting older day by day, i mean, he can stay and i won't actually care, but u just don't want him to make the silly mistakes he made at the beginning, it would be a disaster.

All of you who say that he is getting older don't realize one thing... He is getting better with age... He has been improving year by year... Age is just a statistic... Specially when it comes to keepers. Some hit their stride very late... Zoff anyone?
