QUOTE (Forza Milan! @ Aug 24 2017, 05:50 PM) I thought there was an offer for Belotti, someone paying the full 100M. As for Niang, logic says you are right, we should take the 13M and be happy. However, emotion says I would rather let him rot on the bench than letting him + Cairo sc**w us. The rumoured team were Monaco, and everyone knows they would never offer that kind of money for a player.

QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 24 2017, 10:20 PM) That's the summer when they threw money around because of new ownership, fast forward a year, the new owner got divorced his ex-wife took away half of his riches and he tightened the purse strings, which is why they started concentrating on a younger player base.

QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 25 2017, 03:54 PM) You just confirmed what I said, they had that spending spree when they were bought. 2013, all 3 players. Now they're a feeder club, simple as that really. the only ones still there are a finished Moutinho and Falcao

Now they're a feeder club, simple as that really. the only ones still there are a finished Moutinho and Falcao tbh Han your views on this topic are ignorant, wrong, arrogant and actually so poor that I'm saddened an intelligent lad like you is so obtuse. Again. 1: Feeder clubs do not win their country's league. 2: Right, so Mbappe, Subasic, Glik etc don't exist? And if you had any brains about you on this topic you'd recognise that Falcao is not finished. Unless you consider 5 goals in 8 matches in UCL finished and 21 in 28 in France finished? 3: Moutinho finished?! He's managed 3 assists in 3 matches this season. I just don't understand your absolutely terrible opinions on French football. As soon as someone goes there they become toxic in your view.

I just don't understand your absolutely terrible opinions on French football. As soon as someone goes there they become toxic in your view. My, my, my. I'll just state a couple of facts, 1. Monaco have sold all of their best talent. Fact. Winning the league? So what, Leicester did it as well (a much more difficult one), it doesn't mean they're a great club. 2. You were trying to make a point that Monaco have been spending big for a while, I said they only did that in one summer, you post links that literally confirm what I've said, that all their big purchases occurred in 2013 and most players were convinced in going there because of the favourable tax system which allowed Monaco to offer them sky high wages that summer, wages that they were sweating bullets trying to get rid of when the new owner pulled the plug. 3. Falcao is finished in more serious leagues, his spells at United and Chelsea showed this and it's why no one has been interested in him despite having a pretty good season last year. 4. 3 assists in the French league for Moutinho. Is that really supposed to impress me all that much? And this coming from someone who has admired Moutinho for a long time, he's simply not the player he was a couple of years ago Also, just one final note; just because I have differing opinions to yours about the French league, it does not make me stupid or an idiot.

Far from it, I said your opinions on this were arrogant, wrong, and ignorant. I called you intelligent. Not sure where you picked up me calling you stupid or an idiot from? It's the fact you're not stupid that makes me bewildered as to why on this topic you just won't hear anything rational. We shall drop this. I promised before not to broach this topic and I broke that promise. Never again.

We shall drop this. I promised before not to broach this topic and I broke that promise. Never again. Like I said, just because opinions defer, it doesn't mean one is smart while the other is "ignorant" (if you want to put it that way. Btw, the things I said above are mostly all facts which is where my opinion stems from. Did I write anything in there that is untrue or conjecture? Have Monaco only spent big money in just one summer or not? Have they not sold all of their best talent this summer? Is Falcao still considered a got commodity in Europe? And before you tell me you're over the topic, please answer the above. Because I'd really like to know how my opinion on the subject is ignorant/irrational

QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 26 2017, 03:10 PM) Not biting. Done with this. I find it interesting that you always do this when there's a good counter. Really don't get what your issue is with this. Just asked you a legitimate question, considering you called my opinion ignorant I think I have the right to know why

Perhaps now we can actually discuss transfers in the transfer thread. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Looks like Gomez is going to Fenrebahce according to DiMarzio. Various sites quoting that Renato Sanches didn't play today because he 'has offers'. Mirabelli was at the Genoa=Gobbi game today. He's reported to have talked ot the agent of Pellegri, the Genoa kid who is rather good. Paletta has agreed terms with Lazio, but a deal isn't quite done between the clubs.
