Niang apparently still hasn't decided whether to accept the Moscow move. Despite medicals being scheduled in Rome for tomorrow.
Honestly can this guy get any stupider? They're offering him a salary he'll probably never see again in his lifetime. He should suck it up, go to Moscow for the next 4 years, earn some cash then leave.
If he rejects this move he'll really screw us over

QUOTE (Forza Milan! @ Aug 17 2017, 11:46 PM) The rumor is that Toro is trying to convince him to go there instead. Probably a lot less money to us and to him as well. Well, since Belotti is worth, what, 80M and Paletta and Niang, that should probably mean we should ask them for no less then 30M. I'm getting really annoyed by them.

QUOTE (Forza Milan! @ Aug 17 2017, 09:46 PM) The rumor is that Toro is trying to convince him to go there instead. Probably a lot less money to us and to him as well. Around 12m is what's being reported plus some bonuses Still not the potential 20m we could make if he accepted Spartak. One thing is for sure, we have to make it clear to him that he has no place at Milan, so any delusions he has that he can make it here can be canned. Anyway, if he wants to go to Toro, I'd still take the 12m, probably a better reflection of his actual price and we'd finally be rid of him QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Aug 18 2017, 08:47 AM) Well, since Belotti is worth, what, 80M and Paletta and Niang, that should probably mean we should ask them for no less then 30M. I'm getting really annoyed by them. Belotti has a 100m release clause and Cairo is sticking to it. I agree we should do them any favours, but we absolutely need to get rid of Niang so we'll have to compromise on this one or we'll be stuck with him @ Danny Hmm, let's see Kalinic is very good in the air, can hold up the ball and link up play very well but isn't a predetory striker imo Silva on the other hand drifts in and around the box a lot, can link up play very well also but he does have predatory instincts from what I've seen of him so far, both are good headers of the ball but Kalinic has the obvious height advantage I think they'd do well in tandem (if we ever utilise a 2-striker system that is)

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 18 2017, 07:32 PM) Agreement reached between Milan and Fiorentina for Kalinic: loan + obligation to buy at 25M. [Mediaset]
What a waste of money. I gotta say, attack has been the only area where F+M have completely missed the plot. First Borini, now Kalinic. Disagree. Well not about Borini, he is a waste of money and space. But I think Kalinic will be very important for us this season. We can't put all that pressure on Silva, so they bought an experienced Serie A striker who scored 20 goals for Fiorentina last season, Fiorentina who have been going through a slump these last 3 seasons or so. Sure, he's not Belotti or Auba, but I think atm we were trying to punch above our weight trying to sign someone like Auba when we don't even have CL football. Spending 80 to 100m on a player is just not on the cards for us right now. I think we can go as high as 60m for a single player but that's about it (I think Mirabelli actually said this, not sure) For me, if we build a very good squad this summer so we get into the CL next season is more than good enough. We can make 1 or 2 marquee signings next summer when we're back with the big boys. And maybe a couple of squad adjustments. So next summer we'd only spend on one or two big players and maybe some adjustments in the midfield. Also, we're being linked to Keita again, despite the rejection, I'd still take him if he wants to come. Keita, a box-to-box CM and another CB (if we sell both Paletta and Gomez) That's what I think would be ideal for us and what I think the management will try to go for after selling Niang, Paletta and Gomes (maybe Sosa as well) Maybe we can get a cherry on top like Costa or Ibra.

Btw, Kalinic will take #16 so #7 will still be vacant

Diego Costa : While they don't decide about my situation, I am training by myself. I won't stay at a place where I am not wanted
Diego Costa : I hope to solve my situation before the window closes on 31/08, I want to play, I have offers but I won't name them.
Hmmm, he's definitely softening up. If the opportunity comes, we should take it. Instant Scudetto contenders with him on the team
