QUOTE (han2503 @ Jul 29 2017, 02:25 PM) Some updates
Paletta is close to Fiorentina
Vangioni's move to Monterry earned us 1.5m
Ely close to Alaves on a permanent move worth 3m
So that's 13m for Lapadula, 12m for DS, 6m for Kucka, 1.5m for Vido, 1.5m for Vangioni, 3m for Ely. Am I missing someone?
Hopefully someone comes in with good offers for Bacca, Niang and Paletta We really are shedding all the dross. And I suspect the Paletta thing might be related to our latest interest in Badelj.

QUOTE (Danny @ Jul 29 2017, 03:19 PM) We really are shedding all the dross. And I suspect the Paletta thing might be related to our latest interest in Badelj. Too bad we added one with Borini (IMG: style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) Badelj would come for a minimal fee of around 7m from what I'm reading and he mostly depends on if we can get rid of one of Monto or Sosa. Both will be hard to get rid of as neither want to leave, have high wages and very few teams will be interested. Having Badelj being Biglia's sub would be perfect for us and would be a huge upgrade over what we had last season Locatelli is what worries me, it's obvious he's not going to get a look in next season. We should really look at teams we could loan him and Cutrone to QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 29 2017, 08:31 PM) Has anyone read the rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo? How ridiculous would that be. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Not holding my breath, though. F & M apparently had the balls to enquire about him while they were meeting Mendes last week. Even if we somehow have the financial clout to pull something like that off, I can't see Ronaldo accepting a move where he doesn't have CL football. It would totally throw him off the Ballon d'Or race which is something he values a lot

A Porto fan is biased towards Benfica players in the first place, yes?

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 31 2017, 07:49 AM) A Porto fan is biased towards Benfica players in the first place, yes? Most likely If this deal is with an option to buy it's a no brainer for me. We don't really stand to lose anything. If it's an obligation to buy we should definitely pass and look at other players with different profiles who would be more useful for us. For that kind of money we could try to go for Cesc or Kovacic I believe he has the talent to make it, but we already have Kessie, so you have to weigh all the pros and cons here. An option to buy gives us the chance to get one of the most highly rated young players with little very little downside for us . But with an obligation to buy, I'd rather see us invest in someone who will be an instant upgrade like the 2 aforementioned players rather than someone who might become top class
