QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 23 2006, 01:07 PM) 0-20 would be too harsh, but yet it's your opinion. I agree with Portugal. Here are my ratings: Dida: 6 Bonera: 5 Nesta: 6 Kaladze: 6 Favalli: 4 Gattuso: 5 Ambrosini: 4.5 Seedorf: 5 Kaka: 6 Oliveira: 4 Inzaghi: 5

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 23 2006, 09:42 PM) Rotation system is good, but how do you use it is more important... QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Sep 23 2006, 10:04 PM) ... That is why I blame carlo. I'm not saying Carlo did a good job but it's too easy to come after him now ... I didn't see either of you two complain before the match ... QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 23 2006, 09:48 PM) Bonera - 6 - good performance but I wonder why he never crosses Favalli - 4 - worst player of the match Kakà - 6.5 - I would have given him a 7 if he scored but still he was our best player on the field Inzaghi - 6 - didn't do much but it wasn't his fault Jankulovski - 6 - Carlo should have put him from the begining I think this is awfully one-sided and over-protective on some players !! Bonera gets a 6 and Favalli a 4 ?? Why ? Why ? Why ? Favalli was awesome out there, he is a defensive LB and he did his job just perfectly, they created nothing from that wing ... Bonera on the other hand made a terrible mistake in the first half and the fact that he's supposedly better than Favalli in attack was nowhere to be proved today ... like you said he didn't even cross ... he just came up once in a while ... so please give me some tiny argument why Favalli got a 4 ... just because he's 34 ? And then Janku a six ? he did do what ? We know he's good but all he did was a lame cross !! and last, Kakà and Inzaghi rated that high ? Inzaghi for a fact was more than bad today and yes it his fault, it's not mine by any chance ... QUOTE (Portugal @ Sep 23 2006, 09:50 PM) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) What do you think ... am I dst ?

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 23 2006, 10:54 PM) Ok, why don't you agree with Nesta and Kaladze getting a 6? They both kept winning balls and giving it to the midfileders and attackers and you know how the midfield and attack played today! Because Nesta's game was flawless while Kaladze made a big, foolish mistake and some others less grave too !! QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 23 2006, 10:54 PM) Favalli was awesome? Gimmie a break! A LB's job is not only to defend, which I know he is pretty good at. Favalli is way too slow and he ruins the game for our other players. well awesome is a bit soft I guess ... But he was better than Bonera and he did what he was put on to do great (which is not soft). If there was one player that ruined the game for others he was Seedorf who slowed down every time we were on a break ... So you might ask your break from him !!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Sep 23 2006, 10:54 PM) One of the reasons Carletto likes to play Serginho as a LB ... Oh I thought because Silvio asks him so ... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Inzaghi for a fact was more than bad today and yes it his fault, it's not mine by any chance ... WTF??? Favalli was awful, he did nothing. He didn't touch a single ball the entire time. Bonera was miles better. As I said before, the only negative thing of him was not crossing, but in overall he did pretty good, believe it or not. Janku, for those only minutes he played, did what he could. He was attacking all the time and defending too. But what can somebody do when he isn't supported by the team? Kakà was the best of match, for both squads. He was running all the time, shooting, his shoots were all near the goal and also combined with his team mates. And last, we all know what type of player Inzaghi is. He's there just to put the ball inside the goal, but explain me, if there was't any ball to put inside, is it his fault? NO.

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Sep 23 2006, 11:07 PM) My big problem with carlo now is that after spending last season not rotating players, he is know rotating too much. We need to get a first 11 and swap maybe 1 or 2 players regularly, not 5 or 6 as it oesn't give the layers enough time to gel together. I'm all for rotating, but not as much as we're doing at the moment. I don't have a problem with the number of players he "rotates", what concerns me is that those that played in the WC with Italy are the ones that have rarely rested ... except Nesta that is ... I think the next two games are going to be the last rotated ones ... and from then on we're going to be on fire!!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Man you need to learn what defending means ... Livorno did not create anything from their right wing only because he was covering his opponents perfectly !! Nothing to do with touching the ball, you need to learn how to watch defenders so that you can judge them right ... There's a saying where you can start from: "If you don't make mistakes then there's nothing to cover up for" ... And ofcourse now I get why Janku got a 6 ... because he "touched" the ball ... I reall don't get why taking a long run and then making a useless pass is better than not doing it at all ... Ofcourse we know what kind of player Super Pippo is; he's a cynical type of player ... There were 3 balls for him to put in one of which he preffered to bycicle kick instaed of heading it in ... that's not the Pippo we know !! That's why I gave him 4, cause he didn't either attack or defend. Bonera at least did the second almost perfectly and a little bit the first. And I didn't say Janku played better cause he "touched the ball" no. I said he did better cause he was attacking all the time, he wanted to do something for the team, but with players like Seedorf on his side whose only purpose was to make Armando Pichi his bedroom there wasn't much to do. Players like Oliveira had much better chances and didn't score. Pippo was waiting for the team to react, he even backed in the midfield to take some balls, but with most of his team mates sleeping, he couldn't make a difference.

Ofcourse Janku is player with much bigger potential than Favalli but this and the fact that he had the desire to do things today do not earn him a 6 for today's performance IMO ... In fact I wouldn't even rate him 'cause his presence was too short !! QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 23 2006, 11:38 PM) I don't think that bycicle was such a HUGE miss. Ofcourse Pippo was not as bad as Oliveira was and he definetely would have done more with a better support from our midfielders but my opinion is that we should - as with Janku - rate the actual performances, not "what he would have done if ... " Oh and that wasn't any great chance but still, I would expect more from Pippo !!
