Yes Fillipo, it's ridiculous, but in another way. As Han said, every time someone makes a mistake, we point it out here. It's the match thread after all. Who makes the most mistakes? Muntari. That's why he gets mentioned the most. However, every time his name is thrown around, someone will eventually pop up and say how we're obsessed with him. No sweetheart, we're not obsessed with him. We just hate players who play like crap, and Muntari is one of those players. If Honda played like crap, he'd get mentioned too. But he doesn't play like crap, so we don't criticize him. It's simple logic. Maybe you're the one obsessed with us criticizing Muntari... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I'm no fan of Muntari, but he's not our worst player based on the facts. If you want mistakes, and messes...the stats don't bear your view out over the past 6 matches. For example, his pass accuracy is actually better than Abate's, Torres', and SES. His interceptions number greater than MDS, Alex, and Bona, and SES. Point is he's bad, but let's not be unfair and innaccurate about the context. Would I start him or Essien, of course not. We have better players. But fact is you and Han have an obsession with Muntari and it's why match threads seem to be about him and little else now.

Stats mean nothing. Stats are for those who don't watch games. I have seen every single game and no stats in the world can tell me that Muntari is anything but a worthless dud. He is one of the worst players we have, along with the various Agazzi, Bonera, Niang etc. but they don't play so you don't hear us complaining about them. We complained the heck out of Niang two seasons ago (I even included him in my worst Milan XI ever) and we "massacred" Bonera at the start of this season. However, Muntari has been the only one who's played nearly all games, so his name is mentioned more often than the others'. With him it's not an obsession, but a downright frustration.

You're comparing a midfielder's pass accuracy with that of 2 attackers and a FB, doesn't make much sense, compare it with the other mids like De Jong or Poli, in midfield most of the passes are simple ones either back to the defence or the guy running right next you, while in attack you're operating in tighter spaces, same goes with the FB position I'll give you the interception thing, because he does tend to muscle his way in there but how many times have we seen him intercept and promptly lose it because he either makes a bad pass or holds onto the ball too long? Yes, he's bad, and he shouldn't be starting, that's why we're focused on him because atm, Pippo imo is giving the starting spots to who deserves them (mostly) Muntari plays terribly each week and still gets to start each game bar 1 where it was impossible to play him again after the utter catastrophe that was his performance in the prior game vs Juve. We're focused on him because in each game he makes mistakes that lead to goal scoring opportunities to our opponents. The facts are what I see with my eyes each week, and there is no one on the team who makes the kind of mistakes that he does, not unless Bonera is also on the field. The fact that none of you want him starting, but seemingly don't mind him bumbling about our midfield is baffling to me. Either he brings positives to our game and he should be starting or he doesn't and shouldn't be starting. Defending him while still saying you wouldn't want him on the pitch for me just does not make any sense. When it was Bonera for example no one seemed to care that he was getting bashed in pretty much every other post, either people went along with it or didn't say anything about it. No major hoopla about being "obsessed" with him
