I think the dips in the second half came because De Jong's performance dropped, he was immense in the first half but disappeared a bit in the second, probably due to the fact that he played no pre-season games so his fitness isn't 100% yet.
We really need someone else who can put his foot on the ball in there, it can't all depend on him, other then that, I'm personally impressed, worked well on the counters, defended well when we needed to aside from those 15 minutes or so when we conceded the midfield over to Lazio and it put our defence under pressure. Still Lopez only had to make 2 crucial saves (1 being the penalty) throughout the game, the rest was fairly routine. |

I think he's just too lightweight and slow to be out on that wing, he'd be a lot better in midfield or retreated into a central role in attack. Other than that, he was good and did what he could from the position |
