And this for me backs up why I think Ronaldo is the better player. If you can defend your penalty area, Messi isn't really going to be at all effective as you saw in the 1st leg against us. He's not a threat from crosses or from outside of the box. Sit back against Madrid and they'll just launch balls to Ronaldo in the box and he'll beat you that way.

I think it'll be a good thing for Serie A. But I honestly don't understand why this change in mentality happened at the first place. I remember how winning the UEFA Cup in the 1990's was a big thing. Inter, Lazio, Parma - all had their eyes on the prize. What changed?
