Chicago Fire offer for Inzaghi

(IMG:http://www.football-italia.net/sites/default/files/imagecache/main_photo/[type]/[nid]/inzaghi-goodbye-490ai_3.jpg)

Pippo Inzaghi’s playing career might not be over after all, as he’s reportedly considering a proposal from Chicago Fire.

The veteran striker is out of contract this summer after 10 years at Milan and has hinted he could hang up his boots.

However, there are suggestions Chicago Fire have offered him a deal worth $2m per season to become a player and manager of their youth team.

SuperPippo also has bids from LA Galaxy and Brazilians Vasco da Gama.

Inzaghi scored the winner against Novara on his final Serie A appearance and will turn 39 in August.

Great photo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

He's one of the few footballers who hasn't lost his enthusiasm for the game throughout his whole career. It's the same joy and fire in his eyes, even if decades passed.

Agreed. Forza Pippo! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Galliani has offered to Inzaghi the role of coach of the Allievi Nazionali (Under 16), and Pippo said he'll consider it. He's currently studying to become a coach.

"I'll try to become a coherent and sincere coach, because I think that's how a player will never reproach you anything"

He was a better player than zlatan too. I'd say if he was the same as age as zlatan now he'd be worth more.

A better player? I don't know, they're both very different. More decisive? Hell yes!

He's done and won everything. Ibra, while being a great league player, leaves much to be desired for.

Exactly, hence why I said he's far more decisive.

I'd say he's a better player as well.

But one thing is sure: a better man.

I'd say he's a better player as well.

In terms of pure footballing talent, that's quite debatable. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Inzaghi is a scorcher, a player with limited skillset and movement but lethal eye for goal. Ibra is another monster entirely. He can create, curl, run, dribble, and hit dead balls. Besides, the physical attributes are very different for both the players.

I've been seeing them for a mouthful of years, Inzaghi since his Juventus days when he used to play with some extremely talented forward lineup, and Ibrahimović since his time at Ajax. Comparing the careers of the poacher and the forward, I'm more tilted towards Ibra when it comes to deciding who is a better player between the two.

But let's just say Inzaghi is more electrifying, and Zlatan an out-and-out powerhouse.
