Guys cant you really see that this Allegri is no milan material ???

to prove you all, just remember the first match against Juve and Inter this term when he had all the players available and there were no injured players. You could also notice that he is no milan material when he drew games against bate and victoria plzen. I would sack him right away he got two years and if it wasnt for poor inter and juve form last term he would never clinch serie a, as he failed in CL against Totenham and lost to Napoli in TIM Cup. I still believe Tassoti would do a lot better than him, as he always proved to be successful when Allegri called for his opinion. he is a looser, he lost Pirlo to Juve, he lost Dinho in mid-season (what coach would do that) when he mostly needed, he lost the entire first eleven by applying wrong training methods and causing rift with senior players when the questioned his stupid tactics, putting blame on the medical staff. He should be sacked and promote some primavera coach or other people from the club, the one who knows ins and outs of the club in order to succeed, otherwise this coach will always be the second or third in the league.

Han, you defending Abate is just as bad as kurt defending Max (in your eyes, I mean).

I mean, I knew Abate was gonna **** up again, I even made a post before the game and cynically suggested it'd be better if we doesn't play. goes to show you how predictably unreliable he is. and it's not as if he's only made mistakes against Inter... he's shown a tendency to have brain fart moments in many big games. and those mistakes undo every other seemingly good thing he might do like making a few good tackles. tonight he actually managed to put 2 (!!!) good crosses! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

We need new fullbakcs. we're not going anywhere with Abate and Antonini.

AND

De Sciglio >>>>>>>>>>>> Abate

I'm defending Abate because he gave away a soft penalty which could have been easily not called under other circumstances, I'm defending him because his mistake is so far from the reason why we lost yesterday.

We lost because Allegri did not even have a basic plan for the team, we lost because he left our best options on the bench for whatever reason that only he himself can explain.

And don't exxagerate. Abate is a good RB, De Sciglio has a long way to go before he's anywhere near that level, one odd good performance does not make him the next Maldini. I think we've fallen into that trap one too many times to be that gullible.

Abate has worked hard over these last few years, and he's improved in leaps and bounds from where he was when we brought him back. And he'll continue to improve because he has great work ethic. I can count 3 to 4 big mistakes that he's made throughout the entire season. But than again, the same can be said of Nesta and Silva. Even the best around can make mistakes.

The point here is not Abate's mistake, as even without it we'd still have lost this. And that is because the coach, the leader of this team couldn't even come up with a basic tactical approach for this game. He let his personal oppinions get in the way of his professional ones by leaving Mexes on the bench. How anyone can look the other way after this is beyond me

Only zeddie and kurt are inafutated with him. Danny is on the ropes but even he couldn't defend him after last night

It was a penalty, he shoved him to the floor for no reason.

We'd have been 2-1 and wouldn't had to have been attacking because we needed the win. At 2-2 we started to go for it and that's when spaces opened up. So it's not true that we'd have lost it at all.

2 seasons in charge, 1 a title win and the other 2nd place in a close run thing to one of the only teams ever to go 37 games unbeaten in a single season. If coaches got sacked for this, every manager would last 2 years max.

And what team did we start with against Juve? Boateng, Seedorf, Cassano and Ibra. Hardly 3 DMs and we lost and we were awful. But the fans no best right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Oh, Abate was missing for that game, BTW, I'm assuming - as crap as he is - he's considered a first teamer, no?

Do you have any idea how ridiculous comparing Abate with Nesta and Silva is!? just because all of them make mistakes sometimes doesn't excuse Abate from being such a mediocre footballer. he's ineffective offensively, error-prone defensively. not Milan XI quality. the sooner we find (as Fillipo said) a normal, quality RB, the better.

At this point I don't even care about Allegri. I'm waiting to see what the management decide. it's not like what we think makes any difference.

I have no problem with replacing Allegri with a world class manager, I've said it a hundred times. I just don't want "another" Allegri. and yes, Rijkaard, Van Basten and Spalletti could probably be just that.

4 games and he's already near that level. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I believe if we keep him with us and let him learn from the masters, and certainly don't send him away on loan so he can become another average, Empoli-level footballer like Antonini and Abate, he will become very good.

I'd say I've taken a few blows but I'm not quite on the ropes.

The guy led us to the Scudetto last year, and we only lost this one by a very narrow margin.

His starting lineup last night was incorrect, but it didn't help to see the players putting in pretty much zero effort and playing incredibly poorly until we got the penalty.

After the break it really was anyone's game and we had the upper hand till Abate needlessly threw Milito to the floor.

We also were not helped by losing Abbiati - Bonera wasn't much of a loss. But we were denied a penalty, although you could say the one we got evens that out.

Juventus, as I said prior to the outcome, deserve this title - whoever out of both of us prevailed would be deserving.

But I can't help feeling that last night we gave them more than a helping hand.

Allegri with his starting lineup, the players with their extraordinarily poor effort and performance till the penalty.

All are culpable.

Why are the players consistently giving poor effort? Is it perhaps the coach? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Funny then that when Max got a chance to talk to them all - halftime - we came out on fire. Then started to fade again. Blaming the coach for the lack of another individuals effort is pretty funny though. Almost as bad as blaming him for the injuries yesterday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You have no way of knowing that. The Maicon goal for example came out of nowhere.

We could just have eaily lost 5-2 yesterday with the way we were playing and the chances we gave them. Our defence was wide open even before that. Zlatan's goal was as much a surprise as the one Maicon scored. sheere brilliance from an individual during an entire 90 minutes of utter cr@p. The result was justified, and we would have most likely still lost had the penalty not been called.

Ridiculous? How is it ridiculous? I'm ot comparing him on skill level. I just said that even some of the best defenders around make mistakes, Abate is not perfect and yes his end product needs a lot more work, but he's 99% of the time a very reliable FB. His mistakes this season: 2 against Milito, once against Messi. It's hardly a situation where you can throw down the gauntlet on him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

The LB position is a far more pressing issue. If De Sciglio turns out good than great, we'd have 2 decent options for the RB position. If not Abate is more than good enough. Give me 3 better RBs that we can realistically replace him with

And you're laughing about De Sciglio?? He's had 1 good performance FFS. How many times have we been bitten in the @ss after jumping to conclusions about young players? Already at the same level as Abate? Hardly, you're exxagerating to try to prove your point.

At this point we need change. At least someone who knows the concept of making use of creative players. Allegri is leading us into a downward spiral at his rate. We've never even been in it this season. We've just winged it throughout. Allegri's entire tactical plan is to hit and hope (mostly at Ibra). How is this good enough? So we'll keep him on for next season, have another abysmal CL outing, and come short in the league because our team for some mysterious reason cannot stay fit for more than a couple of seconds. And Allegri will keep insisting on playing a midfield full of distroyers thus reducing us into the Stoke of the Serie A, only we have a classier striker upfront to save the day for us. Too bad this season Ibra's heroics weren't enough to save Allegri's @ss like last season. And let's face it, we've been so bad this season, we haven't won any game against the top 4 sides in the league and the only reason we've run this race so close is because while undefeated Juve were nothing remarkable and continuously let us back into the race when a better team would have ran away with it by March

Well his pep talks can't be all that great if they only last an incredible total of 10 minutes before the players lose their way again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And a good coach would have fired the team up before the game actually started and not sent out a half @ssed team that looked like they didn't have any clue on what the actual game plan is

And yes, Abate was at fault for all 4 goals, how stupid of me to think otherwise (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

EDIT:

And the injuries were not his fault but being reduced to staying the way we were because we only had one change left is. Had he started the correct line-up beforehand than at least we'd have played the game with our best team on the pitch. Had he called up the correct players beforehand, than he wouldn't have had to put in Bonera at LB when he had other options to choose from.

Who said he was? All I said is his mistake was the key moment of the game. At 2-1 we could've won. Thanks to him, it was 2-2 and then we were always going to be chasing the game and at a disadvantage.

We've been through the Abate debate before. actually he isn't a terrible defender (despite his recurring howlers in big games (you forgot to mention how he stood and watched Arsenal score that first goal when it should've been him covering the near post, but whatever)), problem is he adds nothing special to our offensive game and that's what really irks me about him. last night I was actually surprised to see he managed to have 2 proper crosses and 2 fairly good shots at goal! it's unacceptable for me that Milan's RB has such a low output in attack. it's unacceptable to me that Milan's RB crosses the ball with his eyes closed. that's mediocrity. and worse than that, in many games he doesn't even get to have these few crosses and shots anyway. he just runs the length of the pitch like a headless chicken, and do a bit of defending.

He could make a decent sub, nothing more.

As for De Sciglio, he actually played just as good as the last game. say what you want but it really means a lot to me when a 19yo kid with only 3 games under his belt comes in and plays so confidently in a game as big as the derby.

If you don't want to see the difference between a defensive midfielder and a full back in a system without wingers, I have nothing to say.
