He was the stronger man, that's all it was. If that's a foul, you wouuld have hundreds every game and penalties int he teens. Not a penalty, but typical for Barca to get it.
Not that it matters, but Di Maria got fouled in the box at 1-1 and the Sporting defender put his hands on his head because he knew it was a penalty and so did the defender next to him.. they didn't give it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

The defender just had to keep it shoulder to shoulder and nothing would have happened but on a replay (11-12 sec) you could see that he used both his hands to push him and hence gave the ref a reason to whistle. Could have gone either way.

I don't particularly like Barca and the last thing I would do is defend them when they don't deserve it, but that was a penalty. the Levante player pushed Cuenca before Cuenca "kicked" him (I think that was in fact Cuenca trying to get the ball but doesn't make any difference).
