Aquilani should be available, but it'd better to start him from the bench. I'd play the same line-up that beat Arsenal, with Pato instead of Ibra.

Agreed. It seems that a difficult half season has made the entire r&b forum turn on and undervalue Pato. Also the same people, now superglued to the clueless one's nuts and all his sub-moronic decisions - which also include ignoring Stephan - now want him to replace the duck. Hope it's not the same out here. Young players require a lot of patience because they will inevitably #cuk up a lot. SES will and so will Pato until they're close to 24. The fickleness of some fans is incredible.

I just read that Seedorf will be out for a month. Also, Mexes abandoned training today. The fear is an ankle sprain. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Yes, that's confirmed. The dissadvantages of synthetic pitch. Also Cassano trained in gym today with the bicycle.

I'm not that worried for Seedorf now that Aquilani is back + Urby's excellent form, but if we were to lose Mexes for a month or so, I'd be devastated. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Mexes is expected to be out for Cesena and will probably be back against Juventus. For the midfield we have Muntari too, and I think that the crisis in that departament is over. Nesta is back to full training and will probably start against Cesena and maybe will also start against Juventus, since there are not details over Mexes.

Seems like Mexes injury is not very serious, will be out for a week or so.

Imo, we simply cannot take Cesena for granted, and starting a half @ssed line-up would only cost us in the end

We have no mid-week games next week. So I don't see what the problem is or why Allegri would be contemplating starting Ambrosini or playing Urby at AM!

Best line-up we could put out would be

Abate--Nesta--Thiago--Mesbah
Urby--VB--Nocerino
Robs
Pato--El Shaa

The only person I wouldn't start would be Prince. I'd rather not risk him here. Maxi, Ambro and Aqui should come on in the second half for a run out if we're winning

I'm curious to see Sully Muntari. Will he get a look in? And man..we really are flogging poor Ignazio aren't we?

The first examinations on Mexes show that he has an infection on his knee and no serious injury. He'll rest against Cesena and will be ready for the game against Juventus.

Infection? I thought it was inflammation. Either way, good news.

That's how one of the authors on my site translated it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Sorry, it's probably an inflammation.
