QUOTE (X-Offender @ Dec 20 2011, 08:14 PM) *
Mexes is fully fit and can play as many games as he likes. He said it himself. The guy has recovered since a while. Playing him for two games in a row is considered normal at this stage.

Allegri is full of sh*t. Instead of consolidating our defense, he keeps switching players game in and game out. I'll never trust this man.

Mexes: "My knee is fine now, and I'm probably around 80% fit.

It's not just two games in a row , it's 2 games in 4 days which he hasn't done since Roma days more than 6 month ago. So it's understandable why they want to bring him back gradually and It's not like we have that tough of a game today. I guess he will play more after January training camp.

Nah, all this precaution is excessive. He would have played just fine tonight if Allegri wasn't full of poop. After all, a player needs continuity in order to progress and reach full fitness, thing which isn't being done with Mexes and Taiwo.

More bad news. Ambrosini to play instead of Van Bommel.

Bonera, Antonini, Ambrosini. It looks like Allegri doesn't want to win this at all cost. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Would have preferred Zambrotta on the right, but it's still better than the initial hypothesized line-up.

It's my fault for trusting all those sources ahead of time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Still, Allegri is full of poop. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

He still f'd up in other areas so the bashing is still justified

For some it's always justified.

I'm o.k with Ambro playing against such opponents. It's important not to exhaust MVB and keep him relatively fresh for more crucial games later on.

I think you forget that this is the last game before 8th January. He could have afforded to play this one.

And I think previous performances show that it is not ok to have Ambro starting these games

So what? It's still 2 games in 4 days and MVB is not getting any younger.

He was o.k in the last games he played, so I see nothing wrong with that.
