What's his story? Originally he said he never even heard anything. If he's changed his mind then he already looks like an idiot.

EDIT: Is racism a crime punishable by jail time or something, is it illegal? I don't actually understand why the police are even involved. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Well discrimination is a crime by law...but it's a civil violation, so can't imagine why the police should get involved?

Wait..okay...British law might be different...so forget it.

Not 100% sure, I guess there is some sort of offence in there. God knows why the police take interest in this and not stuff like burglary's, GBH etc, I guess it's because it's a publicised case so they think it will be good for them, as it proves they're not racist themselves in any way (at least that's how they want it to look).

I don't know, but I'm presuming he'd have to be pretty confident that something was said if it's a matter that's now been taken to the police. If he isn't 100% that it happened then he should have just dropped it. Wasting police time is a criminal offence.

League Football beast Billy Sharp played 3 days after his son died. And scored.

Yeah, fair shout to him must be pretty difficult to say the least.

And yet some people refuse to play while they are earning £200k a week for the priviledge. The Championship is where the real footballers are at.

Yeah, if Tevez' lawyer has a sense of humour he will refuse to come off the bench to defend him.

Made me laugh. Why do I get the feeling you ripped it off from somewhere else though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It was only a matter of time.

Newcastle playing very well this season and actually look like they could fight for the top 4, at the very least Europa League. So Mr. Ashley decides to go and rename St. James' Park to Sports Direct Arena. Even better, Newcastle won't be making any money out of it at all.

Has to ruin it when he has a good thing going.

I read that this morning. Just wants to make money out of them already, it's only the start of November, bit of a way to go yet! What a clown. It's like he has to be the talking point, like he does these sorts of things to become the talking point yet again.

So now a bunch of disgruntled fans will be turning up again.

Such bad timing too. Think the next 3 games are City, United and Chelsea. Not only will the fans be pissed off, but they'll likely not be picking up too many points either. It'll just go into free fall from there.
