QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 4 2011, 12:18 AM) *
I'll give you that. I rate Kaladze's first two seasons with Milan, when he was played as LM/LB. But afterwards, he was just terrible, on every occasion. But what do you say about the others?

I'm not the right person to judge those. And I misunderstood that sentence I quoted from you. I thought it was about looking good in 1st appearance but eventually turn out bad. D'Arc his comment helped me misunderstanding it. But obviously my fault there. Sorry!

We'll go after Pastore should we fail to sign Hamsik.

lol, nice one

I don't see how Pastore is more likely to come than Hamsik. If we fail on Hamsik, just sign Nasri. He will come for a fair price, unlike the others, and would be perfect as our AM. We also need to sign a central midfielder. Only Seedorf is not good enough.

I think Nasri is pretty much a City player now.

Isn't it always?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Having said that, part of me believes that we have a deal in place for both Hamsik and Ganso, and the media game is now beginning. Bad-haired one will be signed at the end of this summer, and the long-necked one in January. Most of the signs point to this, and if more do in the coming month then we'll have more base for it.

Then again, there was also the case of the fat-tummy one being in London all year long for that special EPL guy.

It happens year after year, yet I find it hard to get used to it.

Same. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I turn myself off these two or three months, use it to charge my batteries, and invest that time on other stuff that need attention. You won't find me scouring transfer forums, websites and blogs. Sure, some people enjoy it, and hats off to them, particularly when they post the news and rumors for us mortals here in this thread.

Like I said, we'll find everything out, come September 1, anyway, so yeah, there it is.

I used to enjoy it but I do somewhat agree with you, it's all a bit he said/she said. I've been through it before when we had all these fancy names and ended up with Emerson (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Though, don't get me wrong like you say I still like reading the rumours that get posted here as they are chucked right in front of my face, so keep up the good work guys in that respect.

Yeah, it's all fun and games for me. Juicy rumors and funny stories in between. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The people that have a real headache are the Milan management, and frankly this is what they get paid to do, to find and sign the best possible candidates in accordance with the requirements and club budget.

I'm just in for the ride, nothing serious at all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Though at other sites (real Goal.com) people do get a tad too serious!

That's how I also think it's gonna happen. And honestly, I wouldn't complain. Signing either of them wouldn't be enough, but signing them both is another story. Obviously, the fact Ganso should come only in January isn't very positive, but I think we'll survive.

Boateng - Van Bommel - Ganso
Hamsik

That would be great. And I completely agree when you say just one of them isn't enough. We really need some creativity and dynamism in that midfield

While that is true, we also need some defensive security. Boateng and Hamsik are great for dynamism, and Ganso for creativity. Though the latter is weak defensively, and Boateng isn't the best at that either. I keep hearing lately Ganso not being a LCM, and as AM he's too slow (I liked us way more with a dynamism AM like Boateng than with a creative one - Seedorf).

I rather see Nasri at AM, and Hamsik at LCM. That seems more balanced to me. Also we don't have to worry about Ganso's major injruy issue then. And Nasri seems really one who comes for a fair price. Hopefully Hamsik kinda too.

And I would love to have Vidal. He's perfect for the Flamini/Gattuso role, he's strong defensive and box-to-box. Flamini can go then.
