Borriello is officially a Roma player (good riddance). We'll get 10 mil.
About Astori - it's a stupid deal, especially for only 4M. He keeps improving and we could have a good third choice Italian defender for next year when Nesta and Yepes would most probably retire. |

as much as I would like this kid to be a great defender I seriously doubt he's going to be really worth all the fuss... he's 24 and he was sold for 4m... how good could he be?

According to Sky Sport 24, we have reached an agreement with Cagliari for a Marchetti-Amelia swap. Now we only need to convince Amelia to accept the new destination. Also, according to Mediaset, Fabregas remains our primary objective. They say that Barcelona have set a budget of €45 million for this summer's signing campaign, 30 of which will be spent on Sanchez. So, they might end up not signing Fabregas after all. And that's where we come in. We've kept contact with his agents via Raiola for the past few months, though we must take into consideration Arsenal's demands as well. They value Fabregas €40 million, and apparently they've already refused a €30 million offer from Barça some time ago. Maybe we can close at €32 million + Emanuelson, who knows. But either way, the deadline is mid-August i.e. the Champions League preliminaries. Let's see how this soap-opera ends. |

Watched Ganso play for about 20-30 mins tonight. I would say he is a very static player, with an absolutely brilliant passing ability. Him + Pato could be golden. I'm interested to see how he does with Brazil.

I haven't posted news in a while so this will be a long one. It will be about a 3-4 days worth of news. Some of it, you'll most likely have seen already. Enjoy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) -Strasser's agent and representatives met with Novarra. He will be moving there on loan for next season. -Gasperini is close to Inter. Morratti apparently met with Mourinho to seek advice and Mourinho approved of Gaspereini. Gasperini will now meet with Branca and finalize the transfer. Hiddink linked also. -Villas-Boas (coaching prodigy) is moving to chelsea. Done deal. Transfer cost is 15m. -FIGC (Italian governing body for football) has agreed on changing the rule for Non-Eu transfers from 1 spot to 2 spots. This rule will take effect on July 4th. -As a result of the rule being changed, the media believes the Ganso transfer is expected to take place immediately. Expected cost is 20m. -Cassano is close to an exit. Moggi has also recommended to the milan board to sell him. -Astori completes his transfer to Cagliari. Cagliari paid milan 4.6m for his other half. -Milan is proposing a swap of Amelia and Marchetti to Cagliari. Marchetti has already agreed terms with milan. Cagliari has also given the green light on the deal. The only factor remains is whether or not Amelia will accept the transfer. -We are linked with Lamela for 10m. -(so many news pieces on hamsik so i'll just sumarize them in one short paragraph) Basically the media believes that we will buy lamela and use lamela and cassano as barganing chips for hamsik. But Napoli's president has come out and said that he is worth more than pato and they will not sell him under any circumstance. The media believes that this is a lie to buy time in order for the to sign Ricky Alvarez, their replacement, which they've bid 12m for. They are in a bidding war for him with Arsenal, Roma and Malaga. He is a huge south American prospect. So if they sign him the media believes that we'll sign lamela and finish the hamsik transfer. Estimated cost is around 10-15m plus lamela and cassano. -Super Agent Bronzetti has come out and said that he believes Hamsik will stay at Napoli for at least next season. -Cassano's agent has come out and declared that Cassano will not be going anywhere this summer. The media believes otherwise. -We are interested in signing Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal. Bayern are after him but leverkusen won't sell him to another bundesliga team. (They are like wolfsburg, have money dont have to sell anyone) They are willing to sell him abroad. We are interested in signing him the same way we signed boateng. Genoa buys him, co-owns him to us and then we buy him out later and Genoa makes profit and we dont' have to stress out a large sum at once. -Galliani and Preziosi are set to have a meeting this week regarding this possible deal. Vidal is non-eu but non-eu transfers between italian clubs don't count, therefore he would be coming at great profit to genoa at the expense of their non-eu spot. -We are after Andrea Poli of Sampdoria. We are interested in buying him out and then loaning him to Cagliari or genoa for a season. -Peddulla, a big market special, who has close links to milan says that we are after Fabregas, Ganso and Hamsik. If we sign Fabregas, we will sign Ganso in January. If we don't sign Fabregas, we will sign Ganso and Hamsik this summer. -Arsenal have yet to respond to our latest offer, sent foreward by Raiola which is 35m in 3 year installments + Emanuelson + €5m in bonuses. They have until June 25th to reply. -Barcelona have completed the deal of Alexis Sanchez for 30m + Jeffren suarez. Sanchez has left his national team camp to sign the deal.
